I had a tummy tuck by Dr. Verbin at his surgical center, and ended up with a MRSA infection, resulting in a 2 month long hospital stay at Torrance Memorial (with a wound vac, multiple surgeries and blood transfusions and finally a skin graft by another surgeon to close the gaping wound) after my stomach was completely opened due to the bacteria and debridements. I cannot post pics without the wound vac because they are considered graphic, but my stomach is completely open under it - do your research so this doesn’t happen to you.

Dr. Verbin has been taking care of me, my wife and my Mom for the last 10 years. He is responsive, competent and an excellent surgeon. Whether you are thinking of some basic touchup or a major surgery you will be pleased with the work.

I am so thankful for Dr. Verbin and his staff. I was extremely nervous about having my surgery and reached out to a friend of mine that has worked in the industry for 20 years, but not in the area, and to my surprise the surgeon that she has been working for new of Dr. Verbin, and highly recommended him. My surgery came out wonderful, and I am beyond pleased with the results. Dr. Verbin is extremely detailed and personable, I know feel that I have an extended family in the Southbay.

The doctor and staff were incredibly unprofessional and disgusting. They discussed my surgery with a former acquaintance who called their office in order to humiliate me. The doctor overcharged me because I was young and didn’t know any better.. He lost a patient on the table and practiced on probation.

The staff and doctor behave in the most unprofessional manner that I have not encountered elsewhere.Various procedures were done about a decade ago, and I never returned to fix the issues resulting from the first and second surgeries. I had no faith in the doctor's ability to do his job, and his bedside manner was disgusting. I foolish overpaid for results that have to be addressed by a skilled surgeon elsewhere.

I found the physician and his staff to be incredibly unprofessional. I was bullied and humiliated as the staff did not respect my privacy or my body. I had multiple procedures done because I could not remember my poor consultation experience. The physician was on probation at the time of the surgery. He kept refusing to correct flaws because he would have to do them for free. He suggested that I contour, try micro-needles and wear a corset to even out flaws. Doors were left open as I undressed, and insults were made so that I would not return. Because I believed that I was overcharged, I had a second surgery despite my better judgement and found that multiple areas were not fixed as expected. He claimed that I would not have to pay a facility fee during a third surgery, but I was too scared to return to have areas fixed. I could no longer tolerate the harassment, and I was concerned about my well-being. I was left with the following: dark, thick and uneven scars; a bikini line that is too high that makes my pubic area too close to my belly button; a belly button that is not centered; a lower cheek is visibly bigger than the other; and a visible dent caused by a muscle not being repaired.

Dr Verbin was on call at Torrance Memorial for plastic surgery end of October. He does on call work there, like other doctors, so they can get privileges to practice there. On call means when the hospital needs the doctor they are only a phone call away Not Dr Verbin, when needed, he never returned the many calls from the ER team. Pretty deceptive, he gets his ptivledges but leaves ER patients and ER doctors without much needed medical advice. He must think it's okay to leave a patient sitting in the ER 8 hours. That patient, bleeding, waiting for a plastic surgeon was me. Finally, I was lucky to get the dept head to come in early for his shift to suture my face. Seems Verbin ignores his on calls and gets his privileges. I like my doctors more caring and ethical, hope you do also. Try Dr Newman. He came in to the ER at 5am, when Dr Verbin was too Busy. Yes, the ER staff knows he didn't come in, Dr Newman, the head of plastics knows and now you do it!!!!

Dr. Verbin is excellent at his craft. He sees the end result and works with you accordingly. With his experience, you can trust that your face is in great hands...especially if you're not someone who has had any injections done on your face. I went to him for Sculptra and he worked his magic. I cannot wait to show up places looking my best, and not like time has taken its toll on me. As we age, we long for our care free youthful days. The natural look that Dr. Verbin gives you will make you feel young again, without feeling self conscious that you've 'had work done' on you. I can't recommend him enough. He is fantastic, an artist and a brilliant physician. If you want a perfectionist and to see results, look no further. He is a results guy, plain and simple. And it feels good to know that you're with a real doctor when it comes to injecting anything into your face. You're safe with Dr. Verbin.
