List of David I Cohen's Reviews
Dr. Cohen is an incredibly caring, thoughtful, and wonderful doctor. I am so grateful to have been a patient of his. He takes his time in explaining conditions and ensuring that his patients understand what's going on within their bodies. He truly cares for each individual patient and is kind, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. I've felt that I was very well taken care of under his care and I wish him the best on his new journey in moving from Torrance CA to Arizona. His new patients in AZ are extremely lucky to have such a warm-hearted and intelligent doctor coming their way!
I'm really going to miss this doctor! He said he's moving out of state and he is not continuing with this physician network and has mixed feelings about it. I only wish I was able to see him more but during this pandemic, but there were so many troublesome people in the healthcare system to have to put up with. This coupled with my having severe autoimmune forced me to deal with more other more 'important' matters. ". But if you are looking for a good doctor who listens, Dr. Cohen is definitely one of them. He was also trustworthy and a very good communicator. His medical records seem accurate of me from what I can tell. It goes without saying that These are essentiel traits for doctors and their staffs to have.

One of the nicest doctors you’ll ever meet. Incredibly caring, knowledgeable and patient. He’s also quite current on the literature which is exceptional. Wouldn’t hesitate to see him — all around great guy and a wonderful clinician.
Dr. Cohen has been a critically important member of my health team for over 14 years. As I aged, my primary care physician wanted me to start seeing a cardiologist, recommending Dr. Cohen, who worked then in Long Beach before moving to his Torrance office.I was diagnosed with a damaged, life-threatening mitral valve in late 2006, when I was 70 years old, but still playing baseball weekly with guys in their 30s, 40s and 50s. Dr.Cohen sent me to one of the best heart surgeons in the country, at USC's Keck Medical Center. (After that surgery I went back and played baseball two more years. But it got too hard to hit those 70 mph fastballs, so I retired.)Now It's 14 years later, and that valve is still performing like the original equipment. I visit Dr.Cohen for twice-yearly follow-ups. I've always "aced" those treadmill tests. (Don't tell him, but here's the secret: Take longer steps.) Best of all, I'm still working 60 hours a week at 84, running my own business.5 stars aren't enough for David Cohen, but that's as far as I can go on that scale. He's a great doctor . . . . and a great guy!William J. ("Spike") Bragg

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
