Dj (Deepjot) Singh's Online Review Report Card

My wife ended up firing Dr Singh in her third trimester. All along the appointments were brief, information was scarce, and all of the reviews here about her bedside manner and being curt were accurate. I understand with a healthy pregnancy there's not a whole lot for an OBGYN to do, especially when there's a perinatologist involved doing the ultrasounds and other screening. However, they forgot to tell us the gender at 20 weeks. Then at week 34 they informed my wife they couldn't schedule her c section at 39 weeks for reasons they could not explain (no availability). But it seems like they just forgot to do it, and told her to just wait for her due date and hope for the best. Run the ER if the baby came early.So we fired her and went back to our old OB in week 36. Our old OB immediately scheduled the c section for week 39 (as is standard with a second c section). She also noted Dr Singh failed to give my wife a recommended flu vaccine and a tdap to give the baby early immunity to whooping cough. The only reason we went to Dr Singh in the first place was because we moved to the southbay from LA and our old OB is in Santa Monica, which is pretty far away.Should of trusted my gut and not started down the path here, but we did, and we regretted it. For the record, Dr Singhs office staff were kind and easy to deal with, we didn't really have any complaints about that.

I had really bad experience with dr deepjot singh..one of the irresponsible, careless and unprofessional OB gyn i have ever seen..if you're looking for OB gyn,never go to her..Don't waste your money ,time and energy..

The office visit was easy and no stress. The staff is efficient and the doctor is terrific.

She is caring and knowledgeable and I am comfortable with her.

Nerver trust this doctor to touch your body.

Dr. Singh is very professional and kind. She gave me great care and made me feel more at ease. The staff seems happy there and are vey courteous. She completed my Pap smear with minimal pain. I have never had a Pap smear that I thought was not bad until Dr. Singh gave me one. I give her a 5 star rating.

Dr. Deepjot may have skills but no bedside manner. Not sure about the skills either as she didn't end up delivering our baby but that's what we heard about her. I was pregnant close to 40 years old with 2 previous miscarriages and a long road of infertility so naturally, I had doubts and questions. Everytime I ask any questions, she would give me a vague or even condescening answer. She would make a pregnant woman (who is a professional herself) feel small and dumb for asking the questions. Not sure how she can do all that with a smile that says "I do not care, I just want to rush through the door". Every single time, she would rushed through my appointments even if I narrow my questions down to two questions every 5 weeks. By the way, she would NEVER answer emails, even if it sounded quite urgent. If you call her, her nurse would ask her and she would answer 1 out of 3 questions. Her nurse Christina however, is capable and empathetic. The best thing she did was to recommend a perinatalogist named Dr. Sachar to me. Everytime I see Dr. Deepjot, I would feel more anxious and offended after I leave and I would look forward to my appointment with Dr. Sachar to ask the SAME questions I asked Dr. Deepjot. He would answer them with such precision, knowledge and empathy. Not once has he ever made us feel dumb and that he didn't care. I wish he was my gyne instead. I gave her an extra star here because she did make sure that my delivery ended up smoothly although she wasn't there. For that, I am grateful. However, I won't be going back to her for my future appointments.

If your looking for an Obgyn I highly recommend Dr.singh. She handled my both my pregnancies. She wasn't able to deliver my firstborn however she was able to deliver my second and I appreciate her staff for their support throughout my pregnancy.

Dr. Singh does the best Pap smear. She’s done before you even notice. Thank you Dr. Singh! :)
