List of Dr. Ludmila W. Afonicheva's Reviews
Money greedy doctor. Front desk very rude
I have only wonderful things to say about Dr.Afonicheva. She urged me to get an MRI, even though my mammogram was negative and because of her, my breast cancer was diagnosed at Stage 1A. I literally owe my life to her. During annual checkups she's always attentive, patient and kind.
Dr Afonicheva has been taken care of my mother, my daughter and myself for years. Very intelligent, personable and kind. Excellent bedside manners and follow ups. Couldn’t be happier.
Dr. Afonicheva has been taking care of my entire family for years. Very intelligent, personable and kind. Excellent bedside manners and follow ups. Couldn't be happier and more grateful for her professionalism and wonderful personality. Highly recommend to everyone.
Terrible doctor. Only in for the money. Always rushing. Speaks her German language with office workers in front of you as if she is talking about you.
Such a great medical office. The care an attention received here is a welcomed breath of fresh air. When someone feels ill, the last thing they want to hear is they have to wait weeks for an appointment. Dr. Ludmila and her staff have a reasonably price program that works for my busy schedule. I can get in within a day or two without any issues.
Unfortunately, I have negative experience with this doctor. Firstly, the phones indicated in the contacts are not updated. This may be a slight inconvenience, but it serves as the first indicator of the organization of work of the doctor’s office. The second one. An assistant who receives calls from patients immediately switches to communication in Russian if he feels the accent of the caller. It seems to be convenient on the one hand, but not professionally. When I inquired about the name and surname of the person I turned to, the answer came that I did not need to know this. I could not assume that this was just an introduction to what follows. Appointment arriving you come to a rather old and unattractive building, reminiscent of rural outpatient clinics of the 70s in the former USSR. The doctor’s manner of communication is rather rude and she allows herself to say something about a patient like shut up and don’t get smart. There are no special complaints to the professional side - the doctor personally did blood sampling fences and an electrocardiogram. Perhaps the office does not have or at that time did not have medical assistants. Another negative point is that they do not call from the office with reminders on the eve of the appointed appendix and there is no control over the resumption of pharmacological prescriptions. When I needed to buy the prescribed medication in Rite Aid, there was no doctor's confirmation for the second time. I called the office to talk to the doctor about the problem, but they told me that the doctor is not talking or calling back to his patients. Then I said that I would be forced to exchange this family doctor for another, more responsible, recalling that the doctor’s salary consists of my insurance premiums. The assistant asked, she decided to scare me, and asked if she could pass my words to Dr. Afonicheva verbatim. The answer was positive. For the next two days, I was left without taking the prescribed medications, and on the third day they called from Rite Aid and said that the doctor had refused the medication prescribed to me. I believe that Dr. Afonicheva has crossed all ethical and professional standards. I part with her upset, but without regret.
I moved to the area and Providence Health referred me to her. I left a message about wanting an appointment. 2 days later still no return call. I called a new doctor and got an appointment.
Afonicheva -doctor ' s assistant - Olga is very rude with patients, allows herself not to answer calls patients and does not respond to messages, her behavior as a boss, the doctor Afonicheva does not pay attention to complaints from patients about Olga.
Ludmilla visited me everyday I was at Torrance Memorial. She is kind, patient, and professional. The best!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
