List of Dr. Thomas W. Lagrelius's Reviews
Dr. LaGrelius is wonderful. I recently had a need regarding my son's health. The issue was more about dealing with the healthcare system, HMO giving us all the run around without giving a referral to ENT. Though it did not benefit Dr. LaGrelius directly, he went out of the way to call the primary doctor of my son and talked to him. Soon we got the referral to the ENT. Not everyday we hear about such positive stories. Not only that Dr. LaGrelius is an excellent physician, but he went outside the call of duty to help us. I highly recommend services of Dr. LaGrelius.
My grandma had a procedure recommended which required a specialist. we came across Lagrelius and went as far as an initial consultation. I sat in to take notes and be a second ear and could NOT BELIEVE how rude and insensitive this person was. Did not listen to our concerns- just had his own agenda. Curt, impolite, and not someone we would trust to our family. Be sure to scroll down to the "not currently recommended reviews" which someone has gone to great lengths to bury. They paint an entirely different picture. I would give zero stars, were it not for the staff which were polite.
This doctor has some serious anger management issues. I will not be returning after my appointment experience. This does not reflect on staff, but the review is for the actual doctor.
I am a long term patient and don't understand those who give him a low rating or says he rushes them. He can be stubborn if believes you truly need a test or medicine but he is honest, takes his time and most of all cares. If you need him you can call him at home, on his cell or anywhere and he answers. If you need him to make a house call because you are physically unable to go to the office he will do it day or night. He takes a personal interest in his patients. What more do you want in a Dr?
This doctor has a bad reputation throughout the entire South Bay area where he works. If you've read the reviews (), or his reviews, you will get a fairly accurate view of this doctor. Disliked by patients and staff alike, he continues to alienate customers and annoy neighbors. Hopefully he will retire or transfer out of our area soon!
I left. The doctor is rude and self righteous. Needs an attitude adjustment. Whats worse, he apparently guns his plane over the houses of patients he doesn't like! i know, because he does it to me! Yikes!
The one star does not apply to the staff, only to the doctor.Rude doctor, constantly in a hurry, does not listen. Tried to follow up by phone and he claimed that he was losing the connection and couldn’t talk. Very frustrating and annoying experience. Would not recommend.
The doctor is arrogant, impatient, and seems to have an anger issue. Not someone you want as a geriatric doctor. Also has a bad reputation amongst his neighbors in Redondo Beach!
Arrogant person with a bad temper. Seems to have an anger issue, even known to be a grouch a nuisance in the neighborhood he lives in (Redondo Beach).
Republican reptile who shamelessly preaches that our right to basic healthcare is "socialism."

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
