Erin Hamilton's Online Review Report Card

After a disappointing experience with another pediatrician we started taking my daughter to see Dr. Hamilton. From the first appointment we knew that we'd stay with Dr. Hamilton. Every visit the office staff is extremely friendly and engaging, which greatly reduces the fear children naturally feel and also sets parents mind at ease during what can be a stressful situation. Dr. Hamilton is extremely gentle and patient with our daughter and takes as long as necessary to answer any questions we have. She is up to date on the latest research and methods for keeping kids healthy and happy. She takes time to give recommendation not only regarding physical health but mental development as well. We love Dr. Hamilton. We only wish she'd see grown ups too!

Dr Hamilton has been our son's physician from the beginning. He's now in college. We couldn't be happier about the care we've received with Dr. Hamilton.

I love this office. Dr. Hamilton, Michael and Liz are amazing and always so helpful. My boys love coming here and are always taken care of. When I had my second baby Dr.Hamilton was so sweet and went to see him to the hospital every day we were there. No matter what my boys need they always care for them. I recommend this office to all my mommy friends. I am always happy with the service. The office is always clean and there is usually no wait times and with a toddler that is amazing.

Just spoke with Dr. Hamilton staff. I wanted to make sure I could control my newborns vaccine schedule due to my husband having a bad reaction when he was a baby. We want to fully vaccinate but we only wanted one shot at a time. First the receptionist told me she goes by the CDC schedule. Then she told me the Dr said a minimum of 2 shots per visit.....I'm the parent....I'm paying the copays.....I'm not a crazy anti vac person I just wanted a slower schedule so if there was a bad reaction we would know which one caused it. She refused. Not going to be using a doctor who won't go with what the parents are comfortable with. Sorry not sorry.

Dr. Hamilton has an excellent bedside manner.

I just left an appointment before it was finished as I was so uncomfortable allowing the appointment to continue. I'm not one to write a review - much less a negative one. But I feel SO bothered by the way this appointment went. At first, walking in, the office seemed so cold and unwelcoming. Not a cute sticker on the wall or kids book to read anywhere. Did not feel like a pediatricians office at first glance. After the usual sight/hearing/weight/height screenings, Dr. Hamilton came in. She never introduced herself to my 4 y/o daughter and seemed to be very cold with me. None of this was too alarming until she examined her vaccine record and noticed she was up to date on all except the flu vaccine. The conversation that ensued about the flu vaccine and my choice to not give it to my kids was absolutely unacceptable in my opinion. I was made to justify my decision and then further questioned and admonished about that decision. She interrupted this conversation only to chastise my young daughter for allowing her mask to fall below her nose. Feeling so uncomfortable with this first impression, I packed up and left without allowing her to further examine my daughter. If you're looking for a pediatrician that will engage in respectful conversation and take your preferences, choices, and opinions into account to work as a team for the health of your child - this is NOT the place.

Dr. Hamilton is such a kind doctor. I bring my three sons to her and her calm demeanor helps young kids feel comfortable. He is very bright and has helped us through some difficult diagnosis. I highly recommend her.
