I had a large hamstring tear off my bone and tendons. Dr. Huber did my surgery to repair the damage and reattach the muscle to the tendons. He is an excellent surgeon. I also did my PT at Coastal Ortho. At 3 months post surgery, I am back to almost 100%. Highly recommend!

Dr. Huber told me and my 6 year old grandson that if pulling the pin out of his arm hurt, he would stop and use anesthesia the following day. Instead he yanked it out while my grandson screamed in pain for ten minutes!Don't tell someone you're going to do one thing and then do another.If he had said "we need to get this out today, I'll try to not hurt you but it has to come out", I would have been fine. But telling someone one thing and doing the complete opposite is NOT ethical, especially as a doctor. I was quite shocked. I've worked in the medical field for over 30 years and have never seen anything like that.

Dr. Huber has seen our family through the compound fracture of our then 7 year old son - requiring surgery and titanium rods and the removal of the rods later, and years later the broken hand of another son. His knowledge, bedside manner, skill set, and reputation among other doctors and nurses is impeccable. We could not recommend him more highly.
