Dr Gamboa is ok. The office staff is lazy and not helpful at all. They expect you to call the pharmacy and coordinate your own Prolia injection. I got tired of going back and forth between Peninsula Pharmacy and Dr Gambia’s office. I’m hoping to find another office in the Torrance Network that goes the extra mile for their patients. I’m a nurse and have worked in clinics before in the front office and this is not how a patient should be treated.

I'm sure Dr. Gamboa is an excellent rheumatologist and my interaction with him was pleasant and professional. However, if you are suffering from fibromyalgia, I do suggest seeking out a younger doctor as fibromyalgia research has been updated so much recently. Dr. Gamboa will help you get your diagnosis but I highly recommend seeking out a second opinion and working with a doctor who can help you create a plan for your fibromyalgia treatment opposed to suggesting just "lifestyle changes."

A total waste of $140 in co-pays. Often the symptoms of early AS can be a bit weird and transient and Dr. Gamboa was dismissive and useless. Did not care. Did not offer any help besides putting me on a very serious blood thinner and sending me on my way saying "we'll wait and see in 6 months" - when I'm 31 years old and can't even walk some days. I have never felt so unseen. He shouldn't work in the medical field.

I was referred to Dr. Gamboa for further evaluation of potential RA. He was very thorough and detailed in his explanations, and took the time to answer all my questions. He laid out the next steps which were easy to understand. I feel very comfortable with his care so far. He is much more methodical, organized, and clear compared to another rheumatologist I saw previously. He also does telehealth appointments which is nice. I would recommend him.

My 1st time appt was quick nd hassle-free, the Dr was straight forward gave his recommendations nd I was on my way.. Great Dr!! Doesn't beat around the bush gets straight to the point in regards to your health.. The visits are quick nd the Dr explains things thoroughly.. Thank you..

Dr. Gamboa was very attentive, kind, and thorough. He explained things well, including our next steps, and he made it clear that I was also an important part of the decision making. I appreciated his more collaborative approach where he discussed things with me instead of simply telling me. I saw a different rheumatologist before this who was dismissive and unclear, so I'm glad I was referred to Dr. Gamboa!
