List of Nidhi Agarwal's Reviews
I don't recommend seeing Dr. Agarwal for perimenopause. I went to see her for my perimenopause symptoms and she denied that any of my very real, medical symptoms were related to perimenopause and suggested that I was just "insecure." She dismissed me with an antidepressant and gave me a restrictive diet plan for someone with Hashimoto's disease (which I don't have). She even told me that I shouldn't need to take iron pills (which I take for anemia, I'm vegetarian) since she and her parents are also vegetarian and they don't take iron. As a medical professional, she should know that all bodies are different. Diabetes seems to be her expertise, so perhaps she should only treat diabetic patients.
Unfortunately I can't recommend Dr Agarwal, due to her leaving the practice. I have been extremely satisfied with her professionalism and care for her patient's. She will be missed. I wish her the best. Thank you for all you and your staff has done to help me gain back my life.
Dr Agarwal is great in less than 4 months she helped me get my A1C down tremendously, have referred me to the other treatments available in the network got me off insulin and fought the insurance company for me to get the proper equipment I needed to monitor my condition correctly. I am very disappointed that she will no longer be working at Torrance Memorial because a great Dr like her is a rare find. Wish you the best Dr.
Do not see this doctor if you are trying to get help for PCOS. She does not know enough about the condition and doesn't take it seriously. All of my concerns were dismissed and according to her, losing handfuls of hair is just a normal part of aging. I waited almost 2 months and paid out of pocket for this doctor to do nothing other than suggest I go on the birth control pill. Seeing doctor Agarwal was an invalidating and terrible experience.
You're better off looking elsewhere. she has no helpful advice, no care, no professionalism - simply rude, arrogant, and sarcastic. BE AWARE! edit: this is my second review, as my previous comment seems to have gotten deleted. Not a very transparent page if you ask me.
I do not fully understand where all these 5 star reviews are coming from. NIdhi was just the opposite.I have never met someone who speaks to people, especially hurting patients, with so much condescension. Don't bother. Really. Don't bother. Waste of time. Waste of money.

i came to see Dr. Agarwal to get my A1C down so i can proceed with my elective surgery. i've been border line for as long as i can remember. nonetheless, as we ALL get older - we are more susceptible to this type 2 stuff. in any case, i came to see her and she explained to me what had happened and was very understanding/sympathetic. i don't believe that she will make fun of anyone (even in social media). she prescribed me a treatment that got my A1C down in 2 weeks time & now, i'm maintaining it. i've lost weight and still losing. Dr. Agarwal is an efficient physician & i highly recommend her to anyone i meet. in fact, i recommended her to my lindora (clinic) nurse. i'm still seeing her but she told me that she will more likely take me out of my meds sometime soon. she is an A+ physician and i stand by what i wrote.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
