Dr. Sword did mine in 1994 or 1995. Still looks good though I could use some more done now that I'm older despite Minoxidil/Finasteride daily. His grafts are still good.

I received a hair transplant with Dr Sword 24 years ago.I am now 78 years old. All the work he did totally lasted all these years. My hair line and thickness is the same as it was 4 months after he finished and it had chance to grow out. I am still to this day amazed and thankful.

7 years post op, still the worst decision of my life. Had way more hair before the procedure. Still very upset that they did not once mention hair shock to me till after the procedure. Hair shock was my best friend. Horrible outcome

Hello fellow Yelpers! A little over a year ago I had gone in to see Dr. Sword, and had a 12-month rx filled. It was time to contact Dr. Sword to call in a refill for my rx so my pharmacy would be able to fill it for me. When I called in to the office I was greeted by an extremely unprofessional woman who seemed as though I was wasting her precious time. I was BLOWN AWAY at how this woman proceeded to treat me, I have never experienced anything quite like it within this industry. She started by asking me my name multiple times to try and pull me up in the system. When that didn't work, she got noticeably frustrated, and she started taking her frustration out on me over the phone. Stating: " Iv'e been at this company since 1989, and your records are nowhere to be found in my system, so I can't help you". I then proceeded to ask her if there was another way she may be able to look me up in her system, and she said: "No". Not by date of birth? Phone number? Email? rx#?: "No". She then proceeded to start blaming this clerical error on a woman she called "Jeanine". I stated that I didn't know this employee, so I didn't care whether she had made a mistake or not, and I simply wanted to take the necessary steps to get my rx refilled. She cut me off, and told me that she "Felt it sketchy that you don't know the employees that work here". I asked her when I could come in and revisit with Dr. Sword and her response was: "Well, he only works 1 week out of every month".... I said great, so when can I come in to see him???? She then told me that the only person that could help me was her and that she felt she was unable to do so: "So take your business elsewhere". I told her how unprofessional she was acting towards me, and I was then greeted by a dial tone- this amazing office manager hung up on me..... Like a 16-year-old girl. What she failed to realize is that I run multiple Medical-Aesthetic clinics throughout LA, & I always reefer patients to their offices for Hair restoration & surgical needs- I will absolutely no longer send them any clients, and will in fact explain to my existing clients as to why, based on my horrible experience today. Way to go guys! =)

I can't say enough about Dr. Dauer and his staff. They are professional, courteous, and are experts at what they do! Dr. Dauer is a life changer. If you are thinking at all about hair restoration he is the person to go to. Dr. Dauer performed my surgery last November. At that time, I didn't have much hair on the top of my head. Two months after the procedure hair started growing and now I have a full head of hair! Throughout the process, from the initial consultation to my follow-up visits, Dr. Dauer was open and honest about the procedure, what he could do for me and the cost. He never pressured me and allayed my fears of the actual surgery, which by the way is painless and easy. I recommend Dr. Dauer 110%!!

I used to go to different doctors to do this but Dr. Dauer did a much better job with a more modern approach than any of those places and I am really happy with the results. The staff was very helpful, doing this procedure was one of the best things I could have done for myself. I really recommend this place if you are looking to get hair implants.
