I was referred to Dr. Phan for a same-day urgent consultation during a public holiday where she was the only attending ophthalmologist. She was attentive, kind, knowledgeable, and patient. Grateful for her professional advice and to her responsive office staff.

I have known Dr. Phan for many years, decades, she was both of my parents Dr, as well as, numerous acquaintances coincidentally. She is a fabulous doctor, you are considered to be lucky if you have her as your Ophthalmologist. Yes at times you will have to wait a bit longer, but it's not because she is not caring.

This was my first visit with this Dr and she seemed to be very rude and irritated. Did not like my experience with her whatsoever! Also my appt was at 3:00pm and I didn't get called in until after 4 and didn't get out of her office till after 5;00pm! Worse experience ever she was not pleasant and not nice!

I got sick with a sinus infection and developed double vision. Went to the ER where they did an MRI which according to the radiologist who read it, was clear of abnormalities and gave me a disc to show to the opthalmologist in case she would see something he missed or wasn't looking for. I went to see Dr Mai Phan with an appt and waited for 1hr20min before she came in to examine me. examined me in 5 min and told me she couldnt do anything for me and that she doesn't believe I have double vision based on her "follow the finger test". She refused to look at the disc for her own findings saying she would only read the written report already made and sent me on my way. I called to speak with the office manager because I was so upset abut the whole experience and was told that she was busy all day. I will NEVER go back there again. This doctor takes home a big fat paycheck for doing very little!!!!
