Torrance Urgent Care's Online Review Report Card

I've had to come here twice due to sudden onset asthma attacks. Staff is friendly, I was always taken care of quickly even there were several people before me, all staff is knowledgeable and gave me the recommended medications that were ordered by the doctor quickly. I came in feeling miserable and left being able to breathe freely. The pharmacy across the street fill my prescriptions from here very quickly as well. Nothing but praise 5 stars!

Thank you to Fernanda and Desiree for being so kind and friendly during my visit. The ladies who helped me at the front desk were also very friendly and helpful! This was a very streamlined experience and I liked the minimalism of the decor inside, too. Thank you guys!

Worst service ever, I called to ask a question and they put me on hold for 20 mins, then called back just to be put on hold again. I recommend avoiding this place if you want efficient service.

EDIT 5/11/21: Had an issue initially with this facility but the staff quickly resolved the problem efficiently. Thank you very much for making an uncomfortable situation correct, I highly value and adulate this urgent care's follow up.Went in for an ear cleaning procedure because I could not hear at all from my right ear. The representative fixed the issue and said that if I still felt I had a problem I could come back the same day. Hours passed and now my left ear would not unclog from the procedure he performed. I returned to this Urgent Care and I was turned away from receiving any service at this facility and I was told I could come back another day. However, I was expected to pay again.The problem here is the staff did not properly do their job well, so as a client that had paid for his service, I expect to not be turned away and given a poor excuse as to why no one can attend to my issue that was caused by their staff in the first place. It is common sense that if you go anywhere for a procedure and it's not done well, then it's that facility's responsibility to provide the client with the right and fair amount of customer service.

Needed a Covid rapid test and I must say, "It was rapid!" From start to finish, about 30 minutes. Drove into an empty parking lot around 915A yesterday (great sign), greeted by friendly staff, while filling out a Form was called into the room, height & weight taken, BP taken by attendant, Doc made a quick entry to listen to chest & ask a few questions, then tech came in and swabbed my son's nasal passage. Was instructed to wait in car and they will call us in about 20 minutes. 11 minutes later, another attendant came outside, and gave us the good news (we're provided a test results form, instructions, and a summary of visit) - NEGATIVE! Superb experience and very clean inside... felt sterile.

I walked in and was helped immediately and the wait was less  than 5 minutes & when I say the people here are super relaxed & wasn't trying to be in a rush with me  . These People here are amazing! Keep up the good work you guys

Unprofessional and dismissive is how my very brief appointment went today with M. P. The woman  did not introduce herself, stood next to the exam room door the whole time and refused to examine my small but infected bump. She announced that she was giving me a Rx for antibiotics and that I would need bloodwork to confirm Lyme disease. I wasn't even sure if it was a tick bite and I had no symptoms of this disease.  I had come to this urgent care to get another set of eyes on my infected bump but was sent away quickly. I paid at the front desk for nothing.  This is not healthcare.

Fastest clinic I have ever been to. Usually urgent cares take forever and these guys were calling my name before I even finished filling out my file. Kind staff and nice patient care. Thank you!

Frustrated. I literally had to wait standing for 20 minutes before I could sign in. Not sure why I couldn’t just sign in and wait to be called. I’ve been here for an hour and have not been seeing. And, a person who literally got here 20 minutes after I did was already seen. I asked why was he send before me even though I got here 20 minutes before him and they said they couldn’t locate my chart. How is this my fault? Seems disorganized. Also front desk doesn’t smile. Seems rude too.*** UPDATEI raised my review to 4 starts (from 1 star) due to the nurse who tended to my needs. It just goes to show how one person who does provide that quality care can really make a difference. She smiled and laughed with me too. Thank you nurse for listening to my frustration and validating it. Also, the doctor and X-ray tech were very kind and helpful. Sometimes we as customers/clients/patients just want to be heard and understood.Maybe if the front desk smiled more it would help. I was told that they were short staff today, so maybe it’s more of a systemic issue. Like the admins needs to ensure that their team is not short staffed should someone not come in.
