Functionally for MRI's they are acceptable but service wise go somewhere else.

I was approved for an x ray appointment and left numerous messages and no call back. When I walked in person to schedule / complete my x rays the whole facility is under construction and was told they are not accepting patients right now.

Zero stars.  My son needed an MRI and the front desk staff submitted to insurance and then did nothing.  They told me my insurance would have to deny the request first before I could even pay out of pocket. I called them five times to see if they had received an answer and they said they hadn't. Three weeks later I find out that my insurance notified them five days after being submitted. Umi of Torrance's management team should conduct an employee review as this location seems to have many poor reviews on a variety of sites.

Don't ever go here. Not only do they not call you to schedule appointments, but they just change your appointment time when they feel like it, and then not tell you. The people in the front office are rude and have no customer service skills whatsoever. Too many options for MRIs to waste time at this place.

Been really difficult to make an appointment. I've left a message on Tues and again today Thur, as well as the prescribing Dr.'s office. I called them today, was put on hold for 11 min. then someone took me off hold (said nothing) for about 10 seconds. Really awkward 10 seconds-- I could hear the background noise and overheard a conversation about deciding where they'd go for lunch]. And as soon as I said 'Hello?" they HUNG UP ON ME?! And then when I call back, it rang once and went straight to voice mail.Am I smoking crack? Is it just me or would the rest of the world not be ok with that?

Today I had two appointments done which included my Mammagram! During my process, both procedures being done & waiting time was very satisfactory! The Technicians were both pleasant during my procedures today, especially Danielle performing my Mammogram. Once I was finished waiting for my Mammogram cd (Which is free upon request.However, a second cd or lost cd will be $50 at cost!) I witnessed a very difficult & rude patient to one of the Receptionist! The Receptionist was so calm, so understanding, taking her time to explain the misunderstanding of the patient's part regarding her authorization/appointment! It sadden me to see the Receptionist named Julianna, to go through such rudeness & disrespect! I was so impressed to see Julianna, remain so professional from start to finish! Once I received my Mammogram cd, I purposely stuck around until the rude patient left (who didn't want service after all her unnecessary complaints)!I wanted to speak to Julianna & instantly give her a big hug! I wished you could've seen Julianna's face because I forgot about the COVID19 & social distancing! But in that minute Julianna was so appreciative of me hugging her! I couldn't stop complimenting her & telling her how professional she was! It was such a touching & heartfelt moment! That the other Staff Members had to stop to look & they all replied with an "awwww"!I've always had nice, warm, professional & fast experiences with the Technicians including the Staff at UMI! I've been a patient since '2018 & have had different procedures and without any complaints! So compliments to your whole Staff for their representation to UMI!

This is my third time coming here and the front desk staff and ultra sound techs are always friendly. I’ve never had an issue with them.

I don't usually write reviews but I had to let everyone know about the wonderful service and experience I had with UMI.. On the day of my X-ray I had some problems and issues with my insurance company company and I was stressing out But Dorali Took out the stress by Instructing me on what to do to solve the problem she also She also spoke with the insurance company herself and And took care of the complex situation. From beginning to end she was very professional and caring.
