Worst doctor ever she is rude and racist!!! And she doesn’t treat you with respect and she has gotten loud with me with attitude I have never experienced this before, what doctor gets loud with a patient? and she never treated me with medicine instead she sends me to other specialist so they can figure it out instead. She is lazy and does not love her job. She schedules appointments without me knowing so she can keep making money but when I go to those appointments she gives me no medicine and tell me she can’t give me any medication for the issues that I tell her I have. I been having infections off and on and she has done nothing instead tells me to go to the ER if I don’t feel good.
This place seems a bit strange...I mean from the receptionist to the Doctor. First of all just making an appointment seemed odd, its like the receptionist didn't know how to add my name to the appointment book (after the 3rd time contacting the office) even though she gave me the appointment. It just seemed very odd and unprofessional. When I went to my appointment the receptionist told me I had to pay $50 which I had no knowledge of prior to coming in. This was for a Cosmetic surgery consultation. She told me that she thought I knew and swore she told me beforehand. It was a complete lie she never told me. But I paid since I was there and anxious to see the Dr. Well things just got worse once the receptionist walked me to the room. She said Dr will be in soon, I then asked her was there any paperwork that I needed to fill out and the receptionist said let me go find out which paperwork I needed. So I thought that was odd because shouldn't she know since she's been working there for a while...hmm, strange. Well receptionist never came back but the Dr came in instead with no paperwork. Her presence was rude, rushy, impatient and like she didn't want me there. I promise I thought to myself if she was racist because it seemed like she was trying to convince me to leave rather than have to do a procedure on me. She didn't want to do my consultation so it seemed. I came very close to walking out of there and now I wished that I would have and got my $50 back. She is not a nice or professional person. I would NEVER let her do any work on me. I paid $50 for my consultation and it was NOT worth it. She rushed right through it without a care whatsoever. She also treated me as though I couldn't afford the surgery at least thats how I felt with things she would say. She didn't even seem knowledgeable about the procedure. Once done with my so called consultation she said she would send me a price quote of the procedure...well nothing came. So a few days later I called and asked were they going to send it the receptionist said she would ask. As of today I still don't have it and that was a week ago. I feel I got robbed of my $50 and that it should be given back to me. This place seems really fishy. Be careful I don't know whats up here but it didn't seem right. I really would like my $50 back because I was cheated out of a real consultation.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME !!! This office as a whole is the most unprofessional doctors office I have ever encountered . The doctor herself will scan you for money . Her consultations that cost 50 dollars , are a two minute conversation held in her office . Everything she said in the office she was able to say on the phone . They signed me up for care credit without any confirmation from me . When I called back for a refund , they hung up the phone on me and provided me no customer service . There's a reason why they have the worst ratings . Do not go here .
She is very rude, disrespectful, and condescending. She has gone to the extent of yelling at me over a mistake she made. She rushes appointments and is rude.
Never had a problem with her.. the listens and I have been a patient since she was across the street from the hospital. I was introduced to her by my mom Minnie, and she became my doctoe as well. I am very happy with her and her husband who I have had to see also at the same office.
Not even sure how to rate this office. I've seen Dr. Adapa for the last 10-13yrs. Loved him, the office and staff. Called to make an appointment and they said I am no longer considered a patient because it's been over a year that I have not needed to go in for an exam or check up. Although they still accept my medical insurance and are currently accepting new patients (ONLY BETWEEN AGES OF 18 & 25) I'm 42 so they won't honor me to continue to be a patient of theirs. It's hard finding a good Dr. In Tracy and even with my long term commitment to them as my primary doctors it's unfortunate they don't care at all.
I don't have enough words to express my thank you to this team. My five month old son woke up one morning with a bad case of diarrhea. He was going to the bathroom every five minutes. I immediately brought him into his [now former] PediatricianAt that visit, there was no expressed concern with his sickness, ("babies get sick") nor was any mention made to me of dehydration as something to keep an eye on. Fast forward: over the course of two weeks, I end up at CPMC Ped. Emergency Room AND Golden Gate Urgent Care with him. He continues to be incredibly unwell. We are literally feeding him Pedialyte with a medicine dropper and, (on the advice of ER DR.), he is laying on chux pads in our apartment with no diapers on, as his diaper rash is so severe, no contact with anything can be made to irritate it further. It is horrible to see him not only not improving, but in pain. I go back to my Son's Pediatrician, I ask to see the Founder, Julia, for the visit and she screens me for postpartum, "motherhood is hard, no?" - what? She recommends chamomile tea for my little boy's diarrhea, never bothers to check his diaper rash, and says she'll put in a "GI referral marked urgent." [Note: the referral actually never came.] At my wit's end with a baby that was now becoming pale, still going to the bathroom 15-20 times a day, and in excruciating pain from severe diaper rash, I pick up the phone and cold-called Discover Health. I wasn't a Patient, I was a very worried Mother. They didn't have to take my call, put my Son on the schedule immediately, or get me a call with Dr. Agastaya within minutes. BUT THEY DID. And not only that - within 15 minutes of me calling them, paper work to treat my son was done, I had spoken to Dr. Agastaya who had already had a consult with the head of Pediatric GI at CPMC AND we were scheduled to be brought into CPMC Ped. ER within the hour. At that visit, my son's vitals and blood levels were checked (how shocking this had not yet been done). After determining his mineral levels, level of weight loss, level of anemia, (the paleness I kept telling everyone), and level of dehydration; a game-plan with the team at Sutter and CPMC was set into motion by Dr. Agastaya . My baby ended up admitted into the Hospital for SIX days and had to have a PICC line inserted so he could be fed intravenously. Dr. Agastaya and his team were not only available via phone 24 hours a day, but came by every day (sometimes twice a day). Additionally, as if to attest to the AMAZINGNESS of this Practice even more: Dr. Agastaya was on the phone with the Nurse in the OR while the PICC line was being inserted into my Son to monitor how long he was under general anesthesia/when to stop the procedure/real-time decisions. As a Mother, I go back and forth - if I had not followed my instinct and picked up the phone, my Son would have had a 911 situation within a few days, an emergency PICC line insertion on a weekend and it would have been a much different scenario. My disgust at the extended length of time my Son had to suffer as a Patient of another Practice charging out-of-pocket rates for substandard care is only overshadowed by my gratefulness to Discover Health. Babies rely on us speaking up for them; there is no doubt, or question in my mind, that my baby is in the best hands possible going forward. There is no question I am truly eternally grateful to this Practice and any Parent who can put their baby in this team, will truly feel assured that their worries, concerns and needs are met by the best. THANK YOU!
I saw Dr. Agastya on April 8, 2019 for Botox. I was not planning on any fillers but after talking to her she told me that Juvederm had a filler that would last 3 to 5 years. This turned out to be a lie. Two years is their longest lasting product and I found that out after calling to report my horrible side effects to the manufacturer. Side effects that she did not warn me of or even give me an after care sheet to take home, telling me what to look for. To add insult to injury I found out that I was extremely over charged at $1100 for a full syringe of Juvederm The going rate is about $400 to $600 less than what she charged me. My Botox leaves a lot to be desired, also. I have a horrible 'suprised' look and one eyebrow definitely has a lot more movement than the other. I'm hoping Dr. McNemar can fix that for me on 4/18/19.Wish me luck!

I have been a patient with Dr Agastaya for more than 8 years now . She is very professional and intelligent and has excellent bed side manners. The office is busy so you may have to wait for 15- 30 mins but they usually squeeze you in same day. Office a neat and staff is nice. I highly recommend this office
