Lonnie Smith's Online Review Report Card

Extremely rude and unprofessional with my mom. He made exaggerated medical diagnoses without having any proof and gave my mom a panic attack as a result. Initially, he told her he could help her and then proceeded to waste six months with lab tests and referrals to other specialists to then tell her he couldn't help her. We do not recommend him at all.

Complete miscommunication on both front and back staff at this establishment. I have been waiting over three months for a referral for a CT scan. I was advised my insurance denied the request, yet they could not provide a date the request was sent nor the date of denial. I inquired as to why I had not been notified and no answer was provided. Sending out billings sure is fast on their end. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Dr. Lonnie should reevaluate his hiring procedure to ensure he hires competent assistants; it's about quality not quantity.

I had surgery done a little over a year ago by doctor Smith not only did he not do what he said he was and billed my insurance for. All the of the work he did do was so messed up I end up spending 85% of the last year in bed super sick unable to get up because I felt like my head was going to pop. Thank you him blocking my sinus from draining at all and the infection was so bad I started having seizures. 5 days after my surgery I called the office because I knew something was wrong I was super sick my tongue is swollen and had bumps all over it my throat had blisters in the back of it I had like this cold sore thing on my lip couldn’t swallow I couldn’t breathe my headache was so bad I couldn’t get out of bed I can’t even open my eyes and when I went into go see him for my postop I was told everything was fine and that’s when I learned that he didn’t do everything he said he was going to do which was clean up my sinuses and what not and remove a cyst all he did was a deviated septum but come to find out later that he had left a bone fragment in my nose and when he did the septum he completely blocked off my whole right side my airway my sinuses everything but to make matters worse A week after my surgery and after my postop he had gone and left the office for a month and I cannot get a hold of him thank God for my primary care physician because they had to call in anabiotic‘s another medication two different ones I was able to get a hold of him one time or he left me a message telling me I was fine and there’s nothing wrong even though he had never seen me he’s a liar and not a good doctor at all he should be put out of business lion sleep center isn’t even registered with the medical review board and there’s two different dr Lonnie r smith’s ones a sr. Just googles name and look it up it’s pretty interesting because all the information I’m finding is that looks a little bit fraud and that there’s only one doctor smith not to working in the same office graduating two years apart from each other with the same degree doesn’t make any sense

The lack of communication with both of his offices is adsurb! My husband has been waiting MONTHS to get his surgery and because of this....his infection turned into a emergency and now his facial nerves are paralyzed and he has trouble swallowing! If you want to be treated before an ignored treatment becomes available ...stay away from this office...They do not care about your health! I am Rogers wife. This review is from me....

I waited 2 hours to get in. I told him the exact same thing as the nurse. Only spoke to him for 5 minutes. Said they would call back. 2 months later, still haven’t received anything. No call, email, voicemail. And my sleep hasn’t only gotten worse since then. :(

Terrible communication with his offices. My husband's ear problem turned into an emergency and now his face is paralyzed and he is having trouble swallowing. I have left messages with his staff to get back to us or to have an appt scheduled for follow up and there is a waiting list. My husband has been waiting MONTHS to get a surgery scheduled but they just sit on it. Can't get anywhere with his rude, incompetent staff that could care less. I truly don't know what this office problem is but certainly. They do not care about the objective of the patient. (To get well) l

My first visit to Dr. Smith was back in July. I've had cronic ear infections my entire life, which lead to a permanent hole in my ear drum. Dr. Smtih is the first doctor who assured me that although my ear is "unsafe" i don't really need surgery unless I chose to. No scare tactics, just straight up, gave me the info that I needed to make a decision. I've alse been feeling like there a lump in the back of my throat. Every other doctor has told me it's allergies, but Dr. Smith looked way in the back of my throat and told me I have acid reflux! I don't understand all the negative reviews! Dr. Smith is a great physican!

What a joke

Had a wonderful experience. He was very thorough and professional. Explained everything very well. The staff were excellent.

I recommend that you don't go to this doctor. He was very rude and unprofessional with my grandmother who can barely speak. I hope you guys find another doctor.
