List of Emanuel Medical Center Outpatient Lab's Reviews
I was sent here by my primary doctor said it was better then mercy in merced. So I was there getting some serious tests. As I waited in the pod they were switching out the other pods with no clean up in between. Blood and iv taken and given no wipe down nothing. For that alone I wish I could give zero stars. Then my tests come back nothing wrong just some gas. Gave me a prescription that they never actually sent over. Now there saying they did so they cant re send. Its like a more powerful tums not a narcotic nothing so Im sitting here with nothing. My labs never came back and they had to take them twice. It took 4 pokes to get an iv in me. Now Im worried my cat scan wasnt treated right or looked over well and want to go to merced to have them do it and sit there for 5 more hours. To think my next child is suppose to be coming in November at Emmanuel. They arent the hype that primary care doctors and other people give them.
This place is a joke. Today my good friend had surgery on his shoulder. He woke up to a scratched eye. On top of that Doctor Ward didnt sign the prescriptions. We had to drive back from Merced because of the doctors forgetfulness. People if you can go someplace else if you need surgery. This placed has made my friend stressed out when he should be resting and healing.
In some point in American there was free good quality health care now we are down to this a first world priced health care with the quality like if it was free. You try to get “urgent care “ and they make you wait hours longer than the clinic.
Very terrible service. No bed and they wanted to gv me IV while sitting down on chair. Ive been in pain since 8am and they never give me any kind of medicine to get me comfortable. Staff are not friendly...
Worst place to go to My wife that’s pregnant didn’t get seen after 5 hours. She came in with a fever put her on IV and now are telling her that she has to stay because they don’t know what’s wrong with her. My wife said she feels much better after the IV she was just dehydrated and our baby is moving again and very healthy but still don’t want to let my wife leave. Now been here for more than 11 hours
I have been coming to this hospital since 2012. I rarely come in. This past experience was one of the longest waiting times. I came in at 9 PM and ended up staying until 8 AM the next day. Between blood tests and seen a doctor it took a really long time. Which is expected right now with Covid and everything going on. Turns out I had to stay even more due to wat they found. I ended up staying until 6 PM. Nobody likes a hospital setting this was my first time ever stain. I must say that they took a really long time to come and check for me in the room. I almost felt like they forgot about me. However they treated me reallynicely. And they told me exactly what was wrong with me and what was going to be done. My nurse Mariano was amazing. And the ladies that drew my blood were amazing as well. The ladies that checked me in were compassionate. And when I asked for water they were nice enough to also bring me a cranberry juice. I am so grateful with this hospital. Even though they took a really long time they got things done and got me out of their healthy Thank you Emanuel Hospital. You have some angels working in there
This is the worst hospital I have ever been in its filthy a majority of the nurses are rude and border line abusive God help you if youre a senior they didnt allow me any food or water for 3 days come to find out I was allowed liquid diet I am amazed this place is still in opperation
I waited five hours with bad pain they were supposed to send in antibiotics and never did I called finally sent in the meds I’m allergic too Plus no help for pain
Unfortunately this is the local hospital. The substandard care you receive here is only over shadowed by the sheer rudeness and incompetence of the nurses Triage is unorganized and most of the staff is more interested in hitting on each other then helping patients. After waiting for way too long I left and went to Mercy Urgent Care just up the road and was seen within 20 mins. I wonder if the staff at Emanuel even realize we left. Dont waste your time at this place. Take the time to go to Modesto or Merced if you need an actual hospital. This ER is a glorified referral service.
Having been waiting here for over 6 hours my 1 year old son has 103 degree fever and I’m still waiting to be seen. The inside of the building where the waiting room is located is beyond gross This is a complete embarrassment the government should have to step in the health care system is terrible they should have people just wait from home instead you will probably get more sick just being exposed indoorsedit no one ever came to talk to me as I’m waiting here the response from the owner is a lie… my son fever now spiked higher

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
