Thank you emergency staffHad to take my mom in for a broken arm. She had to end up seeing a specialist because of unavoidable circumstances but because they adjusted the arm so well she will not need surgery.It took forever but the end result was a win. So thank you.

Never come here.My care was beyond unprofessional it was criminal. i was physically assualted by nurse and security guards.I wont go thru my entite experience again as the hospital has deleted my original review.Dont even stop. Go to modesto where i upon arriving here ask to be transferred and not only did they ignore my request they did 2 surgeries caused permanent nerve damage to my fractured leg ill never have any feeling on inside of my leg because of surgery performed they tell me my injury is too complicated and transfer me 8 days later.

I would not even rate this hospital 1 star very rude unprofessional no compassion the list can go on.I took my 84 year old mom who was told by her primary to go to the emergency right away due to her hemoglobin was very low and she needed a transfusion. We were waiting 3 hours in a hallway I explained to the nurse my mother was starting to be non coherent feeling weak and dizzy. Still no response no room not even a response from a doctor. I left and took my mom to memorial hospital we’re she is receiving a blood transfusion and excellent care. Emanuel hospital needs training on how to treat and care for patients by memorial hospital.

What an extremely sorry excuse for a hospital  This place needs to be closed down or get somebody competent to run it.  A few months ago I had to go in here for extreme stomach pain.  I never saw a doctor.  They did a few exams didnt find anything and were about to send me home.  This was after sitting in the ER waiting room for hours writhing in pain.  I had to beg them for a shot of nonnarcotic pain meds.  That was all they gave me.  Nothing else for my pain.  I suffered through the night and went to Urgent Care the next day.  The doctor there told my wife he was concerned about my condition.  He gave me some meds not pain stuff some meds to try and fix the problem and they worked  I was in and out of there in less than an hour.Last night my twelve year old daughter fell at cheer practice and broke her wrist.  It was late so we decided to take her to Emanuel since it was close instead of taking her to Modesto which in hindsight I wish we would have done.  My wife took her to the ER and there were 31 people ahead of them waiting to register.  Now youd think that you would triage people instead of letting them suffer.  Nope  They made her sit in the ER with no care or meds until all 31 people ahead of them were registered.  After a little bit they at least got her a sling but that was all.  I called Urgent Care to get her in there but they said they couldnt see her because they dont have an Xray machine.  She finally got Xrays after three hours of waiting still with nothing to help her pain.  Two hours after the Xrays were done they finally got called back to sit in a hallway and nobody ever checked on her pain level.  Two and a half hours after Xrays its now 1245AM and they got there at 720PM they still hadnt seen a nurse or a doctor.  They were finally released after seven hours.  All she got was a soft cast.  My poor little girl had to suffer for SEVEN HOURS without getting anything at all to help her pain.  They claim they have a new system that requires a pharmacy approval before any meds can be given but they couldnt get anybody to answer a phone.  Now I dont expect them to give her Vicodin or something like that in fact she has kidney issues and has to be careful about what she takes but they couldve given her Tylenol.  Its sad that people especially kids have to sit there and suffer for hours upon hours in a place that is supposed to help them.  Then they got their paperwork to excuse her from school.  It wasnt filled out at all  All it had was a sticker with her name on it.  Her discharge paperwork said she fell at sheer practice.Emanuel has had a horrible reputation for years.  They recently remodeled and made it look like an actual hospital as opposed to a third world medical clinic.  Sadly their medical practices are still akin to a medical clinic.

The absolute worst place.  I thought Merced was horrible so we came to Turlock.  Please.  My son had his appendix taken out but not before waiting in the waiting area in a damn chair for 10 hours. Oh and his appendix burst.  Geez really.  We got to this place at 6am and he waited all day in a chair and as a parent had to wait outside because I didnt have the jab or a neg Covid test.  Never again.

Went to the hospital again with an order from a specialist at 4pm. Sat us down in the er waiting room. They called someone with the same first and last name back without checking his DOB who wasnt even admitted as we sat and waited for another 2 hours. We finally approached the desk and they admitted they made a mistake and called the wrong person back. This is considered a medical error or hippa violation if personal information was discussed with this random person right? Maybe the staff needs to go through basic training again. The doctors nurses and outside specialties clearly dont communicate. Theres no communication with the patient and their family. Apparently a procedure was done on my grandfather two weeks prior and they didnt bother telling the family about this. Emanuel might of got a new system but they still have the same old bad habits. This facility is a joke. They have a 20hour wait time for a bed. If you go here get checked in and go home till they call your number because you will be sitting for a long time and even when they call you in you still might be just sitting in the er rooms so dont waste your time.

Came in with my 84 disabled vet in an emergency. He is now in a room and I am in the parking lot because visiting hours starts at 9. The dr is supposed to see him at 8. What dumbbell doesn’t know the difference between a visitor and a spouse or a visitor and a mother? When medical decisions need to be made some patients need help. Those helpers are not visitors. NO STARS for memorial hospital but that was not an option

TERRIBLE UNTIDY HOSPITAL WITH RUDE CARELESS IGNORANT DISRESPECTFUL STAFFDon’t go there .. plz go somewhere else ..if you wanna waste your time and want to feel what ignorance of the patient is feel like than definitely make a visit of this hospital .The hospital staff make you feel like you are a flea market .

I have been coming to this hospital since 2012. I rarely come in. This past experience was one of the longest waiting times. I came in at 9 PM and ended up staying until 8 AM the next day. Between blood tests and seen a doctor it took a really long time. Which is expected right now with Covid and everything going on. Turns out I had to stay even more due to wat they found. I ended up staying until 6 PM. Nobody likes a hospital setting this was my first time ever stain. I must say that they took a really long time to come and check for me in the room. I almost felt like they forgot about me. However they treated me reallynicely. And they told me exactly what was wrong with me and what was going to be done. My nurse Mariano was amazing.And the ladies that drew my blood were amazing as well. The ladies that checked me in were compassionate. And when I asked for water they were nice enough to also bring me a cranberry juice. I am so grateful with this hospital. Even though they took a really long time they got things done and got me out of their healthy Thank you Emanuel Hospital.You have some angels working in there
