Dont EVER EVER make a payment plan over the phone with these idiots  Im pretty sure the call center is in India....couldnt understand anything that was coming out of this guys mouth  Then to top it off....was transferred to another idiot whose understanding of the English language was limited.....to put it mildly   What in the hell is going on in this country?????  Checked the bank this morning......double the amount that I owe was taken out of my account  If I could give 0 stars I would

Literally nobody in the waiting room but I cant sit with my wife was told to wait outside???? Not to mention this place smells like feces definitely needs to be cleaned better. Dont be fooled by the positive reviews most of them are done by employees and their families to improve their rating.. My advice is to suck it up and drive to Memorial or Doctors in modesto.

Always get bad service nearly killed my Father when he went in with a pulmonary embolism and called it pneumonia. Dont go there if you want to leave healthier

Took my dad to the ER today. All the staff was helpful and friendly except ER nurse vincent. Spoke rudely with us. When asked how long its going to take he states average wait time in the ER is 6 hours he stated if you want to leave you can. My dads sodium level was 118. No IV was started nothing was being done. When my dad stated Im leaving stated ok. Patient was not informed of the consequences of leaving with a sodium of 118. Vincent just took off bp cuff and ekg pads and stated good luck sir Never coming back to this hospital. Making the patients feel like they are being picked on because they are indian or wearing a turban is not nursing care. He doesnt care about the patients or the community. No empathy or respect was shown to patient or family.

I have been here since 8 p.m. with my motherinlaw it is now 240 in the morning and we are sitting in the room for more than an hour and a half waiting for the doctor to come and we havent even seen the doctor Ive already asked to nurses how much longer and all they can say is well find out and nobodys ever came back to tell me whats going on should have took her to Mercy at least they acknowledge the patients and our concerns is there any good hospitals around here that offer patient care

As I promised here is my updateI was contacted by a person who worked with the hospital administrator and after many phone tags we were finally able to speak in which I expressed my frustration.  I did request a meeting with the administrator and I was told it would take place but it never did for numerous reason. It just never really fit his schedule. However I did finally receive my bill and lets just say that they were  sympathetic about everything that happened that nightmorning. I was very pleased that heard my every word of my complaint. Thank you Emanuel Medical Center for making things right... at least in my case. I hope you improve your ER Dept. I dont want the elderly or people with small children to have to experience what I did.

Some of the nurses who work in labor and delivery especially Beverly appear to really not like their job theyre often a bit rude and turn what should be the biggest happy  event in your life into just feeling harassed. I have witnessed four of my great grand babies being born there one was crying her nurse was so rude others were just wanting to get it over to get out of there no special moments no kindness just incredible they would have such a precious job welcoming new life into this world and seem to resent it and even if they do it shouldnt be so apparent to their patients who are in pain and somewhat fearful   No more labor and delivery for our family at Emanuel

I came in with a piece chicken lodged in my throat still able to breath but unable to swallow my own saliva. They said I needed Xrays to see if there was chicken bones in my throat one of the doctors said there was another said there was not any bones. I came into the hospital at 8pm but was not released until 1230am to another hospital that could actually take the food out of my throat. I was given medication to numb my throat and a different one to relax my throat muscles none of which helped. Dont bother with this place unless youre about to die

If I could give this ER 0 stars I would. Took my 8 month old son there for fever and was prescribed antibiotics. Noticed my sons fever worsening so I took him back only to find out they gave him the wrong prescription dosage he needed double of what he was getting and thats what led to him getting a 103 fever and a fever rash all over his body. Came home gave him the new dosage only to shortly receive a phone call saying they got the prescription dosage wrong again that it was too high for him and I needed to bring him back in if he was reacting badly to the dose I gave him . My son was released at 4 pm I got a call at 7pm. My 8 month old son took a double dose of medicine when he should not have. WORST DOCTORS EVER. Now my son is currently taking 3 different prescription medicines for a simple fever and has to be monitored for a huge dose he should not have took

I was seen in the ER. I checked in on 42819 at 800 pm and was released on 429 at 830 am to be told it was my thyroid. I was held in that waiting room for 11 hrs and in the exam room for 1 hr with a IV that they put in my arm for no reason and it took 12 to release me. I went straight to admitting to look for the hospital administrator but was told he wasnt in. I have written on the hospital website and now I am waiting for a response.  I will fight that bill tooth and nailI WILL KEEP YOU UPDATED
