List of Faraji Eisaac Md's Reviews
This rating/review is a reflection of Dr. Faraji's front office receptionist, not his care. The receptionist (didn't catch her name) was extremely rude. I drove an hour to this initial appointment with Dr. Faraji, arrived early, and didnt even get to see the doctor. I ended up asking my PCP for a referral to a different doctor due to this lady's rudeness. After this experience, I checked reviews on this doctor and apparently I'm not the only one who has had a bad experience with a receptionist there! My guess is its just one bad apple, but this seems bad for business.
I have been a patient for several years. I would agree that Dr. Faraji is a good doctor. The fact that he hasn’t addressed his front office employee “Kathy” is an issue. She is rude in person, and on the phone. I changed insurance and requested to see another doctor because I didn’t want to deal with her in the office. Your staff makes a difference and represents you as a professional, they are an extension.
My experience with Dr. Faragi was excellent. He performed procedures on me 5 years ago and I very much wanted to see him again. I would recommend him to anyone. He is respectful, LISTENS, and competent.
I had procedures done by Dr. Faraji. I had moved to Idaho and actually came back because he was so talented. It's been a while, but today I recommended him to my nephew. So I saw these reviews. I too thought the front office staff was abrupt. But HE more than makes up for them. I would tell everyone to seek out this Doctor. As it is, tomorrow I have another colonoscopy in Southern California. I wish I had gone to Turlock to visit family and have the procedure done by Dr. Faraji.
Guess I should have looked up reviews first! As many others have reported, the woman in this office that handles referrals, has to be the rudest and most unprofessional I have ever encountered! She talks over you, refuses to Answer questions, and if I heard one more time that they are "booked till the end of the year", I would probably would have thrown up! Needless to say, I have already phoned my primary care physician, who immediately referred me to another office that is professional and wants my business! I echo other reviews "why is this woman still working there?" Maybe she's related to the doctor? I'm just sayin! Guess what Dr. Faraji... The day will come when the phones go silent and you are begging for patients, that won't come. All because you let this woman destroy your business!
five stars for Dr.Faraji because he is such a good doctor and has excellent manners. Negative zero for the staff manager who is the rudest person in this world. I'm still wondering after all these negative reviews, how she still has a job? I called and she did not even let me finish my sentence and interrupted me every five seconds. I asked if I can talk to her manager but unfortunately, she is the manager! Can you believe it??
Called to make appointment, receptionist wouldn't even tell me if they had gotten my referral from my primary doctor and told me that when they got to my referral they would call.WONT CALL BACK AND WILL NOT GO SEE THIS DOCTOR.I will get a referral to another doctor.!!!!!!!!!As far as I'm concerned he needs to fire his receptionist and hire somebody who has good people skills. If I could have given him a negative 5(-5) score I would have.
All these one and two star reviews are focused on his staff, the receptionist apparently has not demonstrated the people skills expected and there have been unacceptable wait times. The DOCTOR is the person these reviews should be assessing -- you can vent your frustration with his staff but the #of stars ought to be based on DR. FARAJI, not his staff.I've been going to DR. FARAJI for about 20 years. He is an excellent diagnostician, personable, caring, up-to-date, open minded and unlike most specialists, he is extremely patient and actually LISTENS. He will even consider the virtues of the functional medicine approach and does not treat his patients like a "number."As far as excessive wait times, I've never experienced a wait longer than 15 minutes. If someone waited a long time, I'm certain it was only because the doctor was giving another patient the time and attention that person unexpectedly needed, coincidentally on the same day as your appointment. His staff CAN come off a bit rushed, but they are NOT rude, incompetent or uncaring. I think perhaps WE set the tone for our interaction with others more than we sometimes realize...treating his staff with a modicum of kindness and basic respect will be reciprocated by every person in that office. THAT is my experience with Dr. Faraji's front office.
Doctor is very good but the staff is very unfriendly!
I was referred to Dr. Faraji by my Internist. I never went any further than my first call to the front desk/receptionist. She was very rude and condescending. I understand Dr. Faraji is a very highly respected Gastroenterologist, however his front office staff needs to be scrutinized. They could be responsible for future negative reviews that might affect his desirability.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
