Our family always enjoys going to see dr Robillard. He is so informational and truely gives me all my options. As some who has been slowly losing her vision he makes sure to give me all my options. Allie in the front has been very help using our dual insurance. Dual insurance can be tricky and hard to understand but she takes the time to explain.

Still seeing dr Robillard and nothings change amazing eye care dr!!!! Takes the time to help me understand how my eyes have changed. Explains what's going on with my kids. Can't say enough good things about him. Allie in the office was soo helped and the stylist helped my daughter find exactly what she wanted. Very positive experience told

I was wanting to change optometrists and chose Turlock Eyecare sort of at random. Knowing the reputation of the Julien family of doctors I felt this was a good choice. I selected Dr. Hamel because he had the appointment time I needed. When I informed my ophthalmologist he said that he would have highly recommended him. I could not be more pleased. Dr. Hamel is very knowledgeable, pleasant and thorough. He took time to make sure I understood everything and that he knew of my unique issues. The staff is excellent. The young lady who helped me with my glasses selection was also knowledgable and helpful. I will definitely be returning for my annual eye care visits.

Dr JP Hamel and the entire staff are professional, thorough, and thoughtful in every way. The wait is usually 5 minutes or less. They perform 3 different tests plus check my blood pressure to make sure my eyes are healthy. Everything is done as quickly as possible so there is not much waiting around. He spotted something on my eye that could have been a sign of glaucoma, so he carefully watches that. He is personable and friendly.

Dr. Hamel is amazing and diagnosed my son when he was in 3rd grade! Office staff is friendly and so helpful. I recommend everyone go to Dr Hamel if you have any eye issues! This office is a one stop shop and helpful with insurance to glasses and contacts! They help you with what you need and don't push you to spend more than you need to!!Thank you!

Before Turlock Eyecare I had a terrible experience with an optometrist in Santa Cruz so I was nervous to go to another optometrist. Collin Robillard put me at ease right away. He listened to my concerns and was able to fix my prescription so I stopped getting headaches and recommend different contacts and a different fit that work so much better for my job without drying out my eyes. He cares about his patients and makes the whole exam conversational and makes you feel like his appointment with you is his top priority instead of rushing through to get on to the next patient. I definitely recommend this place if you’ve had bad experiences in the past or if you’re nervous about trying a new optometrist.
