If I could give zero stars, I would...I have been looking for a new primary care physician due to mine leaving the practice. I made an appointment with Family medical group. The appointment was booked about 2 weeks out, which is fine. The day of the appointment arrived and I show up, but the receptionist is unable to find my appointment. After doing some research she informs me that they are unable to see me due to a $43 collection that was on my account from 15 years ago (that I've long since paid BTW). She said that because I was discharged from their office they can no longer see me...like ever. Not even now that I'm financially well off, have good medical insurance and a 750 credit score...but that's not why they are getting zero starts. The fact that not one person in their office bothered to call me and tell me this prior to my appointment date is extremely inconsiderate and unprofessional. I took the day off work and I've been in need of physician care for some time. Had they informed me prior to today, I could have easily found a different doctor and rescheduled an appointment for the same day, or scheduled my day off for a different day. So now I've lost a day of work and still have to find a new doctor.

Dr. Knapp is very patient when listening to patients' questions and he tries to answer them with detailed knowledge he has. For minor health issues, he is good at using the portal he established that facilitates dialogues between patients and him, and gives consultation to his patients, which saves time to visit the clinic while providing solutions in a prompt ways. Highly recommend him.

I have found him to be very cut and dry. Ice cold, a major turn off for me! In all honesty, I could never relax and trust this man as my Dr of choice. Very disappointed.

I have been going to FMG for over 25 years now. I have seen every doctor and PA that they have. I finally found Dr. Hennes who I had for 15 years. when he left I asked Dr. Knapp if he would take me as a regular patient and he said yes. I have now been seeing Dr.Knapp for several years and I am very pleased with the way he treats me. He listens to my questions, I feel very comfortable discussing even the most intimate details of my life or health. He gives his time and I never feel rushed.

Terrible Doctor. Rude and condescending. Treated my mother horribly.

At first an ok experience, then he was more into what's happening on his vacations then what he can help you with. Office staff rude, no matter what never ever be late with a payment. Office staff will not talk to you at the desk they yell across the room to talk to you.

I really liked Dr Knapp. He took lots Of time, listened to me and explained everything.

My mother had been a patient of his for 8+yrs and due to being late on a payment he refused to see her anymore! He refused to return any of her calls. His new staff is rude and nasty.

He is the worst. He prescribed me medication, and It wasn't working properly. I tried to explain to him what was happening. He just told me I had issues and I need to see a councillor and to keep taking the medicine because it would help my mood. I've never taken medication like this before, so I trusted him unfortunately, and after 4 months on this medication I could not function. I had to quit my job because I could not function, I was totally dependent on his expertise and he did not have any. I did my own research and went to a neurologist because it turned out I was having seizures, and panic attacks that lasted days. It took another 4 months to fully recover. He is negligent, careless, and does not take patients seriously. Do not go to this man, if you are looking for a doctor that you can depend on in a time of need.
