List of Lewis Roger Md's Reviews
Dr. Lewis was my surgeon for a very complex procedure. I found him to be very knowledgeable and patient with all of my questions. The surgery was very successful.
Dr. Lewis has been monitoring my pregnancy for the past few weeks. I live with diabetes, my baby was a big baby weighing 10.5 pounds and I never scheduled a C-section and I was worried and I told him that everything was fine that until the 40th week I was going to induce the birth, I remember I told him if I was gonna grow any bigger and he said yes but everything’s fine. March 7, 2022 was the most terrible day of my life.I suffered the greatest pain of my life because my baby died, his shoulders stuck and never came out was impossible with a baby that weighed 13 pounds, my baby suffocated from his bad practices and my never heard me at the time I begged him for a C-section, I asked him for help, I never had anesthesia. He hurt me too much. This could have been avoided if he had acted like a good doctor and listened to me. He ruined my life forever.
I was 10 weeks pregnant with my 3rd pregnancy and had bad lower abdominal pain that lasted for about an hour. When it subsided I called the doctor and spoke with a med assistant. She told me it was probably gas or I needed to have a BM. I said I never had this pain before with my other pregnancies. The next day I had a little pain and cramping on my right side. I called the doctor again and they had me come in. I saw Dr. Lewis. I told him the same thing-I never had pain like this with my other pregnancies. He checked my uterus vaginally and said everything was good. The next morning I was in there worst pain, I had an ectopic pregnancy that had ruptured. I was bleeding internally and went to the ER via ambulance, where I had an emergency surgery to remove my right Fallopian tube and a blood transfusion. This could have been prevented if Dr. Lewis had taken a few minutes to do an ultrasound. Negligence and laziness that almost cost me my life.
The best #1
I had the best pregnancy and Dr. Lewis sweep my membranes a few days after my due date. I went into labor that evening and went to the hospital the nurses however wouldn’t admit me because he said I needed to be dilated over a 4 to keep me even though I was having 5 minute apart contractions consistently. The nurses felt so bad and even said if it was another other doctor on call they would keep me. Instead I was sent home and labored for 2 more days before they would finally admit me at the hospital and that was only because the nurses felt so bad since I was contracting hard 2-3 minutes apart and in tears from the pain. Once admitted things progressed fairly slow. I was finally ready to push and ended up pushing for two hours before Dr. Lewis ever came in. When he did show up he was in the room for all of 5 minutes if not less. I pushed once for him before he decided to use a vacuum on my son. Which resulted in him having to be sent to Valley Children’s Hospital nicu for 5 days due to the use of the vacuum. There was no need for him to ever use the vacuum he was in a big hurry to leave seemed bothered to even be there. He barely told me congratulations on his way out the door. It was the worst birthing experience ever. I would never recommend him due to his horrible bedside manners, lack of compassion for patients, and his negligence when it came to my sons safety during delivery. If he would have been a little bit more patient I wouldn’t have to deal with having a child be transported to another hospital due to concerns for a blood transfusion/crashing because of the vacuum assist that caused head swelling. As well as I shouldn’t have suffered for that long due to his policy on when a patient should be admitted to the hospital.
Dr. Lewis was not my primary doctor throughout my pregnancy but happened to be the doctor on call when I went into labor. He was rude and seemed bothered to be there. I got the feeling that the nurses seemed uneasy when he was around. BUT the main complaint that I have is that when my son was born he cut the umbilical cord himself! The one thing that my husband was looking forward to was taken away, he never offered or mentioned it, just cut it and moved on. I would give negative stars if I could.
He denied that I had an ectopic pregnancy for 2 weeks! Finally, when his own ultrasound tech revealed that I did, he pretended that it was no big deal. Save your life and pain. Do not go to him.
This Doctor is the reason my daughter is not alive today!!!
Such a patient doctor! He explained my options thoroughly, helped me understand my condition and helped me feel at ease with the needed treatment. He also answered every question in a detailed clear manner and I never felt rushed. If you are in need of a doctor with knowledge, expertise and who will take the time to treat you with respect, look no further.
Do not see this doctor I went septic from a botched surgery he performed and when I proceeded to tell him my symptoms he Said it was just anxiety

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
