Turlock Children's Dentistry's Online Review Report Card

Two of my kids have been going to Turlock Children’s Dentistry for quite a while now, and unfortunately every visit has involved waiting 40+ minutes past our scheduled appointment time before being called back. The first few times, I assumed it was just a one-off situation caused by another child needing extra time or care. But after it continued happening consistently, it became clear that this is more of a scheduling issue and that too many patients are being booked at once. The waiting room is always packed, and when we finally do get called back, the appointments themselves feel rushed and very quick. If you’re okay with long waits and fast appointments, this office may work fine for you. But with three small children, spending that much time at the dentist simply isn’t practical for our family, so we’ve decided to find a new office.

It was my son’s first time at the dentist. It was a good experience for the most part and only because I had to advocate for my son who had a dental assistant that did not work well with kids. Being that it is a children’s dentistry, you would think that they would hire personal that work well with kids. She was very rude and instantly wanted to give up on helping my child. The doctor asked for an X-ray to be done on my son and she immediately complained and was very negative throughout the time she was working on my son. She told me she had to do a cleaning on my son, like it was very unfortunate, and that she might not even start since she did not know how he was going to react. So I told her that as long as she treats him well he would be fine. Long story short, I had to ask for his initial dental assistant to replace her. My son instantly changed his reaction. He felt comfortable as he should have been throughout his entire experience.

Hello everyone, I would not recommend this dentist. I took my 4 year old with a couple cavities and I would told that he need to get 8 teeth extracted because they were to damaged to repair. Got a second opinion at a different dentist and that dentist was able to save all but one tooth that was recommended for extraction. I felt like this office was more concerned about charger me upward of 3k for all the extraction than the trama and pain a child would endure with that many extractions.

Turlock Children’s Dentistry has been an excellent choice for our family. The entire team is incredibly patient and knows exactly how to make kids feel relaxed and safe. The office is bright, clean, and clearly designed with children in mind, which helped ease my child’s nerves right away. The dentist took time to explain everything in simple terms and never rushed the appointment. It’s refreshing to find a place that truly cares about children’s comfort while still delivering professional, high-quality dental care. Highly recommended for parents looking for a trustworthy pediatric dentist.

This place is really really good especially for kids with ADHD or are anxious or scared of the dentist. The staff is extremely Nice and all the dentist are Great at what they do!

Amazing and friendly stuff. I really want to shout out to Angie for being so kind and patient with my four year-old. She gets really nervous when it comes to getting her teeth looked at and my daughter managed to get through her appointment without crying!

This place is trash. Avoid going at all costs.

I’m a patient, and not happy with them at all. Facility is nice, but that’s it. They are good at taking a lot of money for 1 star work.

Jocelyn, the receptionists is such a good worker. She helps me out with all the questions I have. Please give her a raise. As for the rest of the faculty they’re also awesome. 😎

I’ve brought my daughters in for about 2 years now and this place is the best. The staff is always really kind and helpful. My girls always feel happy and comfortable going here and that makes everything so much easier for us. We drive in to Turlock from our own town because they are simply the best ! Both my family and I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a kind, patient and professional dental practice to go there.
