My son's been a patient of Dr Mackey's since birth. We were referred to him by a close physician friend. Dr. Mackey's excellent at diagnosing and providing outstanding care. As needed he's referred us to gifted CHOC specialists and followed up to coordinate care. My son is now 16, a healthy, young hockey player who trusts the patient physician relationship with Dr Mackey. As a parent, I want our son to be comfortable to come to us with medical or emotional questions, but if not us then his Dr.

Saw him several times this year for my baby. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and on time. Would recommend highly. He does book up because he is a popular choice. My nurse when I delivered at St Joseph's recommended him and a few others as well.

Because he takes on too many patients taking my kids to the doctor becomes a long boring timewasting ordeal. But he is knowledgeable is candid about the limits of his knowledge explains things clearly and suggests more than one possible course of action.

Dr Mackey has been taking care of my 2 kids since we moved to Irvine in 2004. He is a high level professional, communicates well offers a great bedside manner and has been great with our two kids. I would give him the highest recommendation!

Dr. Mackey is one of the best pediatricians I have met he is great with my kids and has a wonderful bedside manner. He follows up in the evenings and weekends if it is necessary. I work in healthcare and have met many pediatricians he is the one I want taking care of my children.
