Hurtt Family Health Clinic - Tustin's Online Review Report Card

I had a terrible experience! I should have known not to come here, I should have trusted my intuition. The person that referred me to this clinic was late to his first appointment because the address on the website was not updated. After finally getting a hold of the front desk person, they rescheduled him pushing his important intake appointment even further away. He was already in a terribly dark place and they made no attempt to help him at that moment. This clinic takes no accountability!This clinic (which is on Newport ave) makes no attempt to contact the patient before their first intake appointment. They don't email, call or text to provide their new address. I arrived 13 minutes late to my first appointment because no one made an attempt to call me to provide the correct address. Clearly, this has been an issue before and the front desk person has not even tried to take care of this. She confirmed today that this wasn't the first time this was brought up but that she would send an email as she has no control of the website. She tells me others have had this issue so I ask what actions have been taken. It took me to ask how they will address this moving forward for her to want to do something about it, finally. It is not the patient's fault! She said she could reschedule me. I made this appointment 3 weeks ago, rescheduling weeks away is not an option. I let the front desk person know I wouldn't be seeing Andria Hansen today or ever. If this is how they take care of their patients, then I cannot trust them with my well-being. They are extremely disorganized and irresponsible. I will look for another place that makes me feel safe and valued. In the meantime, I will contact the people in charge of these clinics and the board of directors. It is unacceptable to receive feedback and take no action.To be honest, I worry more about future patients than anything else as one of them could be on the verge of a mental breakdown and to have this happen to them could push them over the edge.

Writing this review on behalf of my father who had his first visit and physical with Dr. Wada recently. My dad was very pleased by Dr. Wada's attentiveness and genuine care. He ordered a full panel of labs and ensured he got all the vaccines he needs for his age.  His doctor also followed up on reviewing the labs with my father over a phone appointment. The providers here really show compassionate care for their patients. My dad was also pleased with the staff from the check in process to the discharge process. Since he doesn't have insurance, this community clinic (that also accepts insurance) was able to help him to determine his copay based on a sliding fee scale. My father speaks Spanish, so he was relieved to know that all staff are bilingual plus the registration forms are in Spanish as well. He was also impressed with Dr. Wada's fluency in speaking in Spanish. My father will continue his care at Hurtt Family Health Clinic. He couldn't be more pleased with a doctor's office. Will definitely recommend Hurtt to the community.FYI: When arriving to the 1 Hope Drive clinic, patient parking is now at the parking lot on the corner of Valencia and Red Hill. It's no longer through the Rescue Mission front desk due to COVID precautions. Also, be sure to take your mask with you and any previous pertinent medical history/meds (especially if you're new)

Dr Gershman is great and so is Emily.  Changing insurances  and having to find a new dr. Is stressful but I found Dr Gershman and couldn't be any happier with her and her staff great team friendly And helpful.

Worst service I have ever experienced. They do not answer the phone and the Tustin office doesn't really have an office. They have you wait outside while filling out paperwork when in the summer it could be up to 90 degrees outside and they have no empathy. Every person working there is rude and gives out a lot of attitude. When I asked a simple question I was given no answer and I was given poor attitudes by all staff members. I would not recommend this facility to even my enemies. Poor customer service. Not even one star.

Finally! I found a clinic whose staff are kind, efficient and helpful.The PA was very pleasant and thorough. Reviewed all my medical records and treated me with much respect.The doctor that I was assigned to, took all the time needed to listen to me, gave me all the help, attention, and information regarding my needs, was superbly respectful, compassionate and kind. I left feeling hopeful and happy. I am quite certain that I am finally in good hands and with their care, I am on the road to completely recover my health.Thank you!

Waited 3 weeks for my mom’s appointment only to show up at 0750 today and be told that the nurse who was going to see her called out for her shift and they couldn’t take us in today. We were rescheduled for 24 days later at 0920 and I asked if we can be informed next time if the nurse/doctor doesn’t show up and the receptionist said that they don’t call patients for that. Some customer service 👎🏻

Been cooming for almost 2 years not.once did any of the staff or doctors make me feel anything but respect and the front desk girls are like family at this point. My normal dentist dr..zendaya did I get that right? Lol shes the best I had my jaw wired shut a while ago and still get pains and panic from dentist a bit but she worked with me and now its routine. Well sadly when I showed up at the crack of 7 for a filing my normal dentist wasnt there which now really doesn't bother me, but this Asian guy tallish just was having some kind of a melt down before he even started never said hello, never says what the plan is so open up let's start drilling. It was a bit of an awkward angle and he screamed in my face to the point I could feel spit on my face. Instead of asking if I was ok or any normal doctor he just shoved a brace against my lower lip it split open. Bled. When he was done he just barked at me that I need to keep my tongue still. I was still bleeding and never said a word of empathy or emotion. Everyone else in hurtt are just the best kind of people 5 stars anyday. This man should not be practicing on anything I'm gonna trust you guys to do the right thing, as I said your family almost. But I cant just not say anything that was immoral and degrading and if I didnt respect you guys I'd be going down the...yah fix this and your 5 stars go back =/
