Finally! I found a clinic whose staff are kind, efficient and helpful.The PA was very pleasant and thorough. Reviewed all my medical records and treated me with much respect.The doctor that I was assigned to, took all the time needed to listen to me, gave me all the help, attention, and information regarding my needs, was superbly respectful, compassionate and kind. I left feeling hopeful and happy. I am quite certain that I am finally in good hands and with their care, I am on the road to completely recover my health.Thank you!

Great Doctors but waiting time is so long

I was at this clinic today for a physical I needed for entrance into my nursing school program.  I was seen by the male PA and he was very prompt and professional.  The front and back office staff were also very kind and professional and the place seemed pretty clean (I'm very critical of that since I work in a Dr office).  Even though I was a new patient to them, they got me in and out of there within 45 min!  I was very impressed :)

I was a bit hesitant to visit a "clinic" on my first appointment to the Hurtt Family Health Clinic for a routine physical exam. The staff and facility quickly alleviated any concerns that I had. Each of the staff members I met was friendly and professional. They are clearly on a mission to provide excellent medical care. The equipment was first class and the facility was nice. My PA Sarah was young but very well educated, professional and friendly as well. Thank you Hurtt Family Health Clinic.

I had a great experience at the Hurtt Family Health Clinic.  From making my appointment to seeing the Doctor, my experience was great.  The facility is clean and the people were very nice and concerned.

Writing this review on behalf of my father who had his first visit and physical with Dr. Wada recently. My dad was very pleased by Dr. Wada's attentiveness and genuine care. He ordered a full panel of labs and ensured he got all the vaccines he needs for his age.  His doctor also followed up on reviewing the labs with my father over a phone appointment. The providers here really show compassionate care for their patients. My dad was also pleased with the staff from the check in process to the discharge process. Since he doesn't have insurance, this community clinic (that also accepts insurance) was able to help him to determine his copay based on a sliding fee scale. My father speaks Spanish, so he was relieved to know that all staff are bilingual plus the registration forms are in Spanish as well. He was also impressed with Dr. Wada's fluency in speaking in Spanish. My father will continue his care at Hurtt Family Health Clinic. He couldn't be more pleased with a doctor's office. Will definitely recommend Hurtt to the community.FYI: When arriving to the 1 Hope Drive clinic, patient parking is now at the parking lot on the corner of Valencia and Red Hill. It's no longer through the Rescue Mission front desk due to COVID precautions. Also, be sure to take your mask with you and any previous pertinent medical history/meds (especially if you're new)

Three months ago I took a 19 year old girl to the Hurtt Family Clinic to get a wellness check, and they gave her the results and suggested she get more blood work done. They referred her to a diagnostic center, and when her results came back to Hurtt they called her in and gave her some life changing news, she had been diagnosed with HIV.  Catherine Lam was the doctor who gave us the news, and she could not have done it in a more professional yet caring way, and the support and services they wrapped around her was, and still is amazing.  They followed up and gave her important information she needed to start dealing with HIV, and they call and check up on her regularly.  They helped her get educated and are giving her strong support.  I have used the Hurtt Clinic for other girls that I work with, and they have always been professional, timely, and caring.  No matter what problem you come in with, from a cold to HIV, they are always there to help.  I am very thankful we have found them and they are there for us.Jim
