List of Otto Liao,Md's Reviews
Just like the last review. I didn't get past the front office, had a terrible experience with the staff. They are non sympathetic to any problem you might have had logging in to zoom. I asked how long the appt lasted, they said 30 to 45 minutes yet 10 minutes late and the doctor can't take me anymore. They did not care for my explanation about me not understanding the zoom connection and that there emails with link had gone to my junk mail. Im used to getting zoom links via text from for doctor's appt. They made me feel terrible, almost as if dumb for not knowing to check my junk mail. Who knows how the doctor is, but good service starts with the front desk and they are terrible. Went to another allergist.
Dr. Liao was everything I wanted in a doctor. He listened, answered my questions, gave easy explanations for things I didn't quite know about. He was also very personable, patient, didn't make me feel rushed, and made me feel at ease. I have an autoimmune disorder and no doctors I had come across could directly answer my questions regarding the immune system and Dr. Liao made me feel confident I found a doctor who I could trust. I wish he could be my general practitioner! The office staff was very personable and easy to work with, as well.
My son had Immunotherapy with Doctor Liao it was a great experience. Thank you Doctor Liao and staff.
Dr Liao had helped me out more than my past 20 doctors
Dr Otto Liao Went to see Dr Liao for the first time, he listen to what was going on with me , I broke out with hives , though it was from an food Allergy, he run a full panel Food and Allergy Blood test. No skin Test. I was happy to hear no food allergy, Put my on some Meds I fell better, Thank you Dr Otto Liao .
Didn't get past trying to make an appt. His receptionist Crystal refused to help find out why multiple faxed referrals weren't getting to her office., asked her to call my referring doctor's office. "We DON"T make calls, they have to fax to us". Tried to explain that faxes were sent twice with confirmation, but apparently, Dr. Liao's office staff DOESN'T make calls because she "has patients to take care of". I was trying to be a patient too! I have enough to worry about with raging allergies, added stress of snotty office staff not acceptable. He might be great, but good service starts with the front desk. Went to another allergist.
Office follow up with the insurance company has been terrible (since they haven't yet) and that has left us holding the bag for a HUGE lab bill. Beware of office visit requests for test results - their new patient forms ask for very specific authorizations to have lab results relayed over the phone. They insisted we review the results with Dr. Liao in office, we finally conceded, to find out she had a minor reaction to dust mites and that no further treatment was needed! Insurance abuse?
With all the identity theft going on I am uncomfortable giving personal information over the phone (especially as I work in the field) - appointment desk refused to even make me an appointment until I gave up the information. Instead I found several doctors who would allow me to provide information at my appointment.
Dr Liaison is very knowledgeable & friendly. The staffs too. See big improvements since our daughter's treatments and now my husband is Dr. Lois's patient. He breath better after just few treatments. We highly recommend Dr. Liao.
He is a good listener. He is very comfortable to talk to about your problems.Good experience and accesability.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
