Great doctor! Pays attention to your every needs and does not rush you like others. He makes sure you are good on all ends!
I have been going to see Dr. Salem and his staff for 11 years. When you walk in the door his staff (Kristi) greets you by first name...she knows everyone :) you wait for maybe 5 minutes, and are taken back to get treatment. I have done regular chiropractic, electric muscle stim, ice and spinal decompression and cold laser. Dr. Salem has it all. I had herniated discs, bulges, sensation in my hands and been in severe pain that wouldn't let me move. Spinal decompression saved my quality of life and after one treatment, I went from a 10 on the pain scale to a 0. I would recommend this to anyone and the price is right.
Dr. Salem has been my chiropractor for 8 months. He listens carefully to my symptoms and adjusts accordingly. His treatments have helped ease chronic pain in my lower back, so now I’m thrilled to be on a maintenance program. In addition, he recently used laser treatment for carpal tunnel in my wrist. It worked wonderfully! I highly recommend Dr. Salem.
I was in so much pain I couldn’t walk, sit in a chair, or even sit up at all to eat or drink. I was out of work on the floor of my house in excruciating pain for 2 months when I met Dr. Greg Salem. I had a ruptured L5 S1 and two other bulging discs. My ruptured disc was protruding into the nerve canal sending shooting pain throughout my lower body. The neurologist at st Joes was certain I needed back surgery. After 1 decompression treatment at Dr. Salem’s office 30% of my pain was gone. After 3 treatments I was back to work with almost no pain and making money to support my family again. I finished all 25 of my decompression treatments and I never had to have surgery. I am now pain free and have my life back thanks to Dr. Salem. I couldn’t be more thankful and I recommend Dr. Salem to anyone.
Dr. Salem is a good dude happy and friendly caring who makes sure you're taken care of. I go in there for adjustments all the time. He also is one of the rare doctors that take Kaiser insurance. You can always scheule with his secretary or walk in I guess. I would check though just to make sure. He helped me with some back issues I’ve had. I’ve been able rectify my posture a lot more since coming here along in conjunction with exercise. He has all the equipment for accident victims. He really sits down to understand where you’re hurting and why. He’s on the second floor down the hall if you're coming from east. I’m always in n out for the most part as far as my adjustments go. If you don’t like waiting too long come by and see Dr.Salem.
Dr. Salem takes time and great care with you. His immunotherapy treatment was the only thing to fix my back. i tried, PT many times, Acupuncture, Chiropractic for years, etc. Immunotherapy with Dr. Salem allowed me to resume my activities again: tennis, golf, hiking etc.
Dr. Salem has been our family chiropractor for about five years. He goes way above and beyond just chiropractic care. He truly cares for each patient. Not only has he helped me with my own back issues, he has helped all of my daughters. Recently, my youngest daughter had very bad foot pain, which was thought to be plantar fasciitis. After a month of treatment with a podiatrist and absolutely no pain relief, I brought her to Dr. Salem. He came up with a plan of action, that included adjusting her foot and laser therapy and within a week her pain had lessened and she was able to get back to playing the sport she loved. I highly recommend Dr. Salem!
I have been dealing with median to chronic back pain since 2010. After lots of doctors, hospitalization, chiropractors, treatments, medication, and doing everything I was told to trying and minimize the pain, while tring to function and have a life without pain killers, I have finally found a doctor who not just listened to the complaints, but went one step further and did all the tests, and exams to investigate the complaints a little more.Yes, I have a few bulging discs, some lordosis, spondylitis degenerative, disc desiccation and some other complicated words on my MRI diagnosis that I am not sure what they means. Seeing the MRI for the first time (not my first MRI by the way), Dr. Salem took the time to explain, allowing me to finally understand what is happening with me. After being educated on the condition and options available, we decided to start a series of Spinal Decompression treatment.I had my first session on June 1st, just before my 2 weeks vacation and a 6 hours flight one way. We will have a total of 25 session. It was a little uncomfortable on the neck, but what an immediate relief it was on my lower back...after 1.5 hours dealing with my cervical and lumbar spine, plus laser and ice treatments, I felt wonderful. While there on the table, he went through my diet, habits, activities and made some recommendations to add and remove somethings. Today marks one month and about 10 sessions. My neck is a zero pain level right now? Something ai have not felt in at least 8 years. Still working on my lower back, but I see my habits slowly changing to adapt to this new phase in my life. No exercises for now, except for very short walks, but I am hopping soon to be back to hiking more actively, yoga and who knows? Maybe kayaking again. After my first session these were my immediate impressions:First: I think I grew 2 inchesSecond: I was able to get up and stand straight without needing time to adjust and feel like reconnecting my spine on to my hips, which usually is the common procedure I go through, it can take a few minutes, and lots of painThird: why I was not told about this before by the many doctors I have seen throughout the years? This is a treatment not covered by my insurance. For some reason, most of the health plans in CA do not cover chiropractors. I would love to understand why since almost everyone here practices some sort of outdoor sports, and should be on a preventive care health management program. It has been so far the best money I have spend on my back, on myself!I feel that I am working with a professional that did not forget the 'Care' part of Healthcare. He is focused on dealing with the problem and finding a solution for it. Unlike many other doctors out there who don't listen, who are always finding ways to cover up the symptoms, using me as guinea pig for the pharmaceutical industry, and to fill their monthly quota of pain killers. I wish we had more doctors like Doctor Gregory Salem. Thank you, you are my rock star #spinaldecompression #chronicbackpain

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
