Very happy with Dr. Alvord. Pays attention to health issues, & sets up necessary test. A caring Doctor, that listens to concerns. I already recommended Dr. Alvord to my family & friends.
i love seeing Dr. ALVORD, she always has time, answers any questions I may have...listens and ask questions that let me k ow she is listening
Dr Alvie's was good at first but then I found that afteover a year later I had been out on so many different medications creating so many additional health issues in my life. My resent problem was plantar facitias. I went I the ER and then later made an appointment with De Alford so that I could get a physical therapist referral. It took two weeks to get in and then, as always I show up 10 mins early to my appointment. 45 minutes after my appointment I went out of the room and there was no one there. I finally found someone and they said that the dr was behind schedule. It was very concerning. I had to get to another appointment and now I have to live in pain without a referral. I figure that when I finally get he referral it will take a week or two before I can get into the physical therapist. It is no wonder that it takes so long for recovery for an individual.
I liked Dr. Alvord at first. She was new and needed patients. She was very thorough in the beginning. As her patient load increased, she spent less time with me and made potential life threatening prescription decisions. She doesn't listen, she assumes, she puts me in a category of averages. I don't even think she knows my name and I've been seeing her for at least 4 years. I think she needs a refresher course in medicine, practicing medicine and taking each patient as a person with real pain and medical problems. She is always sending me to other doctors. I have called her assistant many times, they lose my messages, don't get back to me and make me feel like I'm not important. I may change doctors soon. I have to do my own diagnoses and take natural things to support my sicknesses. I would NOT trust my life to her. She's okay as a middle man and simple problems. I would definitely choose a different physician if you need a doctor. Maybe when she gets more experience she'll be better. I fear more for her life than my own. Each time I see her it looks like she's gained another 20 pounds. She needs to take her own advice, but then again, she believes so much in big PHARMA that I"m sure she takes statins and BP meds. instead of attending to her own out of control weight gain.
We are very satisfied with care rendered by Dr. Alvord. Staffing and ease of appointment or to speak to "nursing staff" is almost impossible. Getting vital information from staff falls through the cracks. The staff certainly do not respond to patient requests for information in a timely manner
I was lucky enough to be assigned to Dr. Alford. I am an especially complicated case and she aways treated me with special care. She has a refreshing bedside manor.
My mom had been having burning, itching and pain on her scalp. Her regular doctor was busy and was scheduled with Dr. Alvord. The Dr. didn't bother to examine the affected area. She quickly gave her a diagnosis and said it was stress and gave her muscle medication and quickly rushed out. No interest whatsoever for my mothers health. It has been a week and my mom had to go to the emergency room because she was in pain. She was diagnosed with Shingles. Thank you Dr. Alvord for treating my mom like she was not of any importance. May your practice last long.
Very bright & attentive to my needs.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
