Dr. Gunawardana seems like a patient and thorough physician-but I too had no return calls. The first, when I was experiencing numbness on my left side on the evening I was discharged from the hospital. The second, when I wanted advice re. taking PAXLOVID after a positive Covid test. She may be overwhelmed with the ongoing patients at SARH, but I was hoping I could transition my general care to her practice from its current location. But I must have a doctor who will care for me even when I'm NOT in the office.

Horrible. This physician treated my mother in law for nerve pain at San Antonio Regional Medical Center in Upland. They pretty much kept her sedated for the entire 4 days she was in there. This doctor released her with a confusing cocktail of medications. These medications have kept the patient sedated since she left the hospital. She can't eat, walk, wake up, etc. This doctor also refuses to return phone calls to discuss what medications could be causing the sedation.

Excellent Physician, very pleasant and does not rush through your appointment. Sometimes you will wait a little but she is worth the time invested. She always greets you with a smile!

My Mom, Janice, saw Dr. Gunawardana Internist, and believes she is the most thorough, knowledgeable, and compassionate doctor. She only wishes her other doctors were as kind and competent. She would highly recommend her!

This physician has no compassion, competence, or communication skills. She does not listen to her patients or acknowledge their concerns. She is careless and does not pay careful attention to patients' care. I would absolutely not recommend this physician to any individual!
