Step by step, milestones have been achieved for me under the skillful guidance of Doctor Kurera. Because of this, it has been a surprisingly positive past few years for my health.

Pushes. Meds got addicted to benzodiazepines & dumped me & said I needed inpatient care after she’s the 1 who told me to take them after meds didn’t work. Asked for therapy referrals 2 times by email & no response. Go elsewhere

Lack of empathy, just wanted to put me on meds. Offered TMS then backed out cause she couldn’t be in office. Then she became to busy for personal reasons & video calls became farther apart. Then I got dumped because she decided I need inpatient care because she kept telling me to take more kolonopin & I became addicted. Asked 2 times for referrals for therapist & both emails were ignored. Look elsewhere. I also wasn’t the perfect patient

She has no empathy, just prescribed meds. Got me addicted on kolonopin in the last 3 mos. Then said she couldn’t help me anymore & said I need to go to a detox hospital. I wasn’t the perfect patient & asked a lot o questions & she thought I was ? And thought I was questioning her input, I always? Drs & look up info given. Also asked for referrals for therapist 2 times by email & no response. Go elsewhere ...

She's made herself available multiple times since I started seeing her for medication management which is huge in times of crisis.

This is a fraudulent business. Do not give them your credit card information. They will post fraudulent charges to your account. My daughter was under Dr. Kureras care for a couple years. I could no longer afford her insurance so I put her on Medi-Cal. I informed "Krista" Dr Kureras assistant by phone, email and even text message, that her insurance was now through Medi-Cal, which they acknowledged. After I informed them of this change and requested they remove my credit card from their files, they still unbelievably continued to post more than $200 in charges to this card for appointments she had after her insurance had changed. I tried numerous times to get them to reverse these charges but they refuse.

Dr. Kurera is by far the best psychiatrist I have ever had! She listens well and also uses DNA testing to find the best matches of medications for each individual. I would not be where I am without her!

Dr Kurera has been very helpful over the years with helping me battle my depression and panic disorder. I would recommend her to anyone.

Waited over 2 months for my appointment that ended up being a complete waste of time. Showed zero interest, looked half asleep, was late, gave me a dose meant for a child which my real doctor upped to the proper dosage afterward and she billed for an hour appointment and was barely with me 30 min. This is all while I was in a very dark place barely hanging on, so how ecstatic was I to get a $400 bill from my insurance for this life changing visit! Save your time and money and look elsewhere for someone who at least pretends to care for your well-being.
