Would never recommend this office. Rude women who think it’s ok to hurt patients’ feelings!!!!
I am only putting 1 star because I have to. Sincerely this "doctor" deserves no stars and to get his credentials/medical license taken away. He is extremely rude to anyone who is a woman, elderly, or overweight. The entire time of my appointment he lectured me on being overweight EVEN THOUGH I made it extremely clear I am working so hard to loose weight. I walk 1 mile a day minimum and I workout at home everyday for at least 30 minutes. But instead of listening he cut me off multiple times and said I'm not doing enough. Even when I mentioned to him I had already lost over 20 pounds around the time I had first came to see him. The staff is not that great. One older woman around her late 40's is the worst. It is really a hit or miss with her, one day she is neutral and the next she is getting beyond frustrated. I do not entirely blame the staff for this because if "Dr." Duber was a real doctor he would set the good example of how to treat patients with dignity and respect, but since he does not do that his staff is also very dismissive and rude to his patients. Sadly I do have to return and I will make sure my point is clear and I will NOT get cut off! I was not sure in the beginning if I was being too sensitive but now that I've read the reviews on this man, I don't feel crazy and I know I'm right. I feel confident enough to tell him what many of his victims (including myself) didn't get to say because we were overwhelmed or just wanted to keep composure in public. Depending how my upcoming appointment goes I might have to write another review.
If youre overweight GO SEE ANOTHER CARDIOLOGIST… I have SVT, which is a bad nerve in the heart causing your heart to go into episodes that cause it to go double the speed. It is not life threatening but in the long run can cause my heart to get weak. That has been my ONLY heart issue, im 24. I came to his office after my hospital visit of my heart rate at 228, expecting to get some answers about my SVT. We talked about my condition for 2 seconds, the rest of the time was spent talking about my weight for an hour, i know being overweight is an issue, but its something im dealing with, with my primary doctor. I did not need an hour lecture on how im fat so im going to die. He gave me medications, explained he was only giving me them to prevent another attack before i came back to see him. My next appointment i was so hesitant to go back, i really did not want to, but i needed clearance for a knee surgery. I refused to weigh at his office, i weighed before i went in, gave them the number and that was the last time i wanted to talk about it, hoping to get a few more answers about my SVT and talked to about surgery. Nope, the WHOLE appointment was him and his medical assistant trying to convince me that i HAVE to get on the scale. I refused more than 10 time at least, it felt more like harassment , later i realized being obese was the only bad diagnosis he could give me other than my SVT. My echo came back normal, my EKG came back normal there was literally nothing else wrong with me other than im obese. He then tried to give me false diagnosis of high blood pressure and irregular heart rhythm and told me he put me on the medication at my first appointment for those reasons but NEVER did we have a conversation about me having either of those things. So on my way out, dr duber stood by the door which is near the scale and said before you leave weigh yourself, i again denied. He then got angry with me, told me if i refused to weigh he will not clear me and stormed off, literally stomped his feet down the hall. Worst doctor experience i have EVER had! I saw a new cardiologist who said i do not have high blood pressure, my heart rhythm looked fine on the 2 EKG’s we did, cleared me for surgery and didnt discuss my weight with me 1 time because that WASNT WHAT I WAS THERE FOR. I left his office with some many WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED feelings.
Dr. Duber is the very best cardiologist! His intelligence is superior! He has brilliantly kept my husband alive for the past 13 years, always knowing what to do. He has a wonderful office staff. They are very kind, knowledgeable and helpful! My husband and I highly recommend Dr. Duber as a cardiologist and outstanding person!
Dr canceled my appointment because it conflicted with his vacation. New appointment never made. I changed Dr.s
Had one of the worst experiences with him. I have SVT which is a bad nerve in my heart, nothing life threatening it just can send you into an "attack".. He gave me medication to prevent an attack until i saw him again, i wasn't having issues so decided not to take it. I am bigger, but it is something i am working with my primary on. My whole first appointment was only about my weight and 2 seconds about the issue i was actually there for, which ok i understood.. but my next appt i went in and refused to weigh because i wanted to talk about my actual issue.. they wouldnt talk to me about anything else other than getting on the scale.. he then told me he put me on the medication because i have high blood pressure and an irregular heart rhythm, he never had a conversation with me about this, just got frustrated that i wouldnt weigh for him and he just told me my EKG and ECHOCARDIOGRAM looked normal. I started tracking my blood pressure and asked my primary and she said i did not need to be on blood pressure medication and my heart rhythm was normal and to find a new cardiologist... by far the weirdest doctor experience ive ever had! I also need clearance for knee surgery and he said i would be fine but refused to give me clearance for knee surgery because i wouldnt get on the scale. So now im just having to suffer with knee pain because this man is a jerk.
I’ve known Dr. Duber to be one of the best Cardiologists I’ve worked with in any hospital or emergency settings in my nursing career. For this reason, I was pleased that he accepted my request to care for my mother during the fin year of her life. He is clear and concise with recommendations and findings.
I was referred to Dr Roger Duber by my family physician, Dr Darlene Espinosa. During my initial consultation visit I was impressed from the start and felt I was in good hand. He was very thorough, kind and listened to my concern which as most know in this current day in time is very hard to find in a doctor. They are normally too busy going room to room and don’t give patients more than 5 minutes. Well, not with Dr Duber time was not an issue. I was not rushed I was asked to tell my life history including my families life history. I am so happy with Dr Duber personality and bedside manner that should I need further treatment or something pop up that is of concern I am 100% confident in Dr Duber’s experience that I will continue on as his patient. I completely trust him and feel I’m in good hands...... Thank you Dr Duber
Outstanding & caring doctor. I highly recommend him.
No star for his office staff. Dr. Duber tried to make up for Staff rudeness by make jokes of my 91 yr old mom being pregnant hahaha. Office manager Yesenia was helpful and hopefully she follows through with training her staff on not being impatience with older patient!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
