Only experience in ER which was weird

My 89 years old mother was scheduled for a surgery They told us to check in at 7:30 amAfter spending hours waiting in the pre-op area without update , finally we were told her surgery is not until 1:30 pm , so my poor mom who can barely move and hurts everywhere had to stay for hours stuck in bed for no clear reason

This hospital is the worse !!! I get taken in by abulance just to be put back in the lobby waited 7 hours for nothing because i couldnt resist just waiting there freakn Ridiculous i walked out the ER is supposed to be for emergency seems more like just a waiting room even for the very ill. Horrible place dont go there

I'm a first time mommy who just had my baby 12/21. After needing an emergency C section with my daughter, I will never forget how kind and wonderful my entire nurse staff, NICU staff, maternity and Dr Brenna Sommer were. These women are my hero's.

Another near death experience from SARH, I went into ER on Dec 26th, with complaints of chest pain, having had previous heart issues, they ran 3 tests, ECG, chest xray, labs, after a very long wait I was seen by the Er Dr., he said the test showed negative and the narrowing of my arteries was due to stress and gave me anxiety pills and Discharged me, the next day I still had the pain the pills just knocked me out, I took some nitro and had temporary relief, I called my cardiologist and he said come in immediately, I went to Arrowhead Regional hospital and had an angiography and the found 2 arteries blocked at almost 100%, I received 2 stents and was released the next day, please don't listen to the ER Dr, if you still are in pain, there just moving patients, this was life threatening.

I'm currently in the ER waiting area. I came in with a BROKEN LEG. After 4 hours I called the Emergency Department from the ER waiting room. A lady named Deb said she saw the pain med prescribed and they were trying to find me a bed in ER. IM IN PAIN TO THE POINT IM READY TO Pss out. The best is hear is the people checking patients in don't get off their ass and scream patients name. UNPROFESSIONAL. I guess a broken leg isn't an emergency

I live in Diamond bar , had an gum inflammation for about a week but Christmas was two days ago , my elder parents needed looked after so I waited... huge mistake- horrible tooth and gum pain constantly wouldn't let my body deal and I passed out . Went to this hospital and it was very crowded. But much to my surprise I was called about 20 later , the doc was young and ran on ego but he was my savior ! He gave me a shot right I. My mouth and the pain went away immediately. Now waiting for antibiotics and I'm out the door. Over all it was clean the employees were all competent and Tran a tight ship. I thank you doc and all the nurses .Kendall marden

I wish I would have read the reviews here before choosing San Antonio Hospital over Pomona Valley Hospital. I developed acute pancreatitis after having a severe case of influenza type A. I arrive to San Antonio community Hospital at 5am and it wasn't until the next day 1 AM and I received a bed. I understand the hospital being over crowded after the Christmas holiday. What I was shocked to find? Was how absolutely cruel and unfriendly some of the ER nurses were. I was completely dehydrated and suffering pain on the 10 scale and I actually had a nurse named Taylor scream at me for asking too many times over a one hour period for ice chips and my pain medicine that had gone two hours over the doctors order to administer. I would be brought in for multiple tests but then sent back out into the lobby where seating was at a minimum. Staff had zero compassion and would order you around like in a military camp. The health workers would make no eye contact with anyone or show compassion or empathy to even the sickest of us there. I finally spoke up to this ER nurse named Taylor but she paid me back by making sure I didn't get one of the available beds and had me sit in the hallway alone for another hour. Do your best to stay healthy everyone.

I can't believe this hospital doesn't have 5 stars!!!Myself and many friends have been treated at this hospital and by far. The staff Doctors/ Nurses are the most amazing kind loving people I have ever experienced in my 61 years on this earth! My best friend is there now and has stage four cancer. I am writing this review out of gratitude for how wonderfully they are and how they continue to give him hope!His nurse Jill is an Angel in my eyes. She continues to encourage him to fight. Thank you for your caring hearts!
