Matthew Heeren's Online Review Report Card

I greatly appreciate Dr. Heeren. Not only does he take the time,  but also responds promptly (even at 6:20 a.m),  whenever I sent him messages for medical advice, whether it be just regarding a common cold, hives, or a more serious condition like a fracture or a tick burrowed into my daughter’s scalp! He always gives us sound advice, assuages our fears, and goes out of his way to follow up with us through the patient portal. Although we would have preferred it if we were able to get an appointment with him in person when we need to see him, which of course can’t be blamed on him but rather on the system. What’s amazing with him though is that he makes up for the shortcoming of the system and makes himself readily available thru messaging.

These two kiddos of mine have been patients to Dr Hereen since birth! He has been through thick & thin with us, always there to listen and also give advice. The kids are very happy with him as their Dr. My son is usually very quiet but he was so comfortable with Dr Hereen he was talking about his girlfriend which embarrasses him if I say it! My son had a Mystery cough for years, we tried all Inhalers, Nebulizer etc, well Luckily since the Pandemic started he has been home and and hasnt coughed at all! We think he outgrew it but Dr Hereen was right on time with refills and excuses for School. No problems, always does what he says. Kathy, his nurse is the sweetest lady, the kids think she's a cool lady! I dont want them to turn 18 and have to see a Adult Dr! Thank you Again for dealing with the Aguilar Family-Diane 28, Savannah26, Irene 23 and then Mya 16& Jr.14 I highly recommend him!! This is from an experienced mother of 5 kiddos! 4 girls and a boy!! ❤

I have 5 children. My youngest has Asthma and Bilateral Plantar Fascitis. We really are happy with his care. He always checks in and the nurses reply back quickly on the phone. Caring and understanding. Never feel judged. A+++

He is the best! He is encouraging to the children and parents.

My kids started seeing Dr. Heeren a couple of years ago when we had to transfer to a new Dr for them. Dr Heeren is probably the best dr we have ever had. I wish I could have him as my primary care Dr.

Hmm... I really wanted to leave Dr. Heeren a 5 star review, but I was left feeling a little unsatisfied.  We just moved to the area and I took my kids in for their first annual well check appointment with him.  Let me start of by saying that everyone else here was right... He is definitely kind, he is not judgmental and he listens to what you're saying.  He asked me if i had any questions, or concerns and so I told him and he gave me suggestions on what I should do to address the concerns I had.  However, after my husband I left the appointment I realized.... he didn't even ask us any questions and so I was left thinking, "Are the kids growing healthy and normal? Are they reaching all the milestones that they should be reaching??"  I just felt that he should've asked us at least a few questions about the children,  but nope.. not one question.

Dr. Heeren has been my kids pediatrician for 13 years now and all 3 of my kids, hopefully the 4th one as well. He truly listens to everything you say and asks questions back. He doesn't just assume he knows what it is because a couple symptoms sound like something. He engages with the kids as well. Awesome Dr!
