I really like Dr. Newman. I don't like doctors or hospitals but he is pretty good. He is my primary care doctor and its always straight to business when I see him, which is nice since I don't really want to be there. He often has a scribe with him who takes note during my visits so he pays really good attention when we discuss my issues. I feel like he always addresses my issues and when I leave I always have a plan of action and understand whats happening. One time, I was walking down the hall back to leave and he heard me cough and asked me if I wanted him to "take a look at that." I honestly feel like he cares about my health way more then I do.

Careful selecting this doctor who works at Northbay. Very lacking in his medical care, not engaged at all with your medical issues, seems to be watching the clock and just putting in his time with very little concern for your medical care. Seemed bored and distant. Just going through the motions, surprised he still works there.

My family has seen Dr. Newman for 12 years. Dr.Newman takes his time talking to you, explaining things, and answering questions. He also treats you for what you came in for and additionally addresses other possible preventative measures. Lastly, he is the kind of doctor that will try least invasive measures (such as exercise, physical therapy, etc.) first before prescribing medication or procedures. Overall, he is a great doctor!

Dr. Newman is great!! He always figures out what's going and I leave his office relieved and reassured. I highly recommend him. Kim is wonderful too!
