Calvin C. Hung's Online Review Report Card

Had me X-ray ed to rule out pneumonia on Monday morning. Haven't heard from him yet. Call FP few times and was informed that Dr. hasn't  reviewed it yet. Seriously?

Calvin Hung is a fantastic Dr. He has a great chairside manner and made me feel very relaxed and at ease. He listened closely to all of my complaints and did not just dismiss my issues as just anxiety or obesity. He ran multiple blood panels and it unearthed I have a serious autoimmune disease. Without his caring to find the true problem, I never would have known and would still be searching for answers. I am immensely grateful to him. I highly recommend Dr Hung as a true dedicated Dr.

Dr. Hung is both a gentleman and a scholar. I moved to Valencia 4 years ago and needed to change medical providers. This was a very anxiety provoking experience for me. Working in the healthcare industry made it an even bigger challenge. I met several different internists and did not have a good feeling about their attending to my health care needs.Then, I was blessed to have met Dr. Hung. He has a very distinct and caring bedside manner. I felt as he was listening to what I was saying that he had an interest in working with me. He has always known when to refer me to a specialist and I have been happy with all of the referrals given. The specialists have been as professional as Dr. Hung is.I remember when I was so anxious about getting a colonoscopy. I talked to Dr. Hung about it and he had some good insight. He told me of a patient of his who was so sorry he did not get the procedure done earlier. I understood the consequences that Dr. Hung was alerting me too.Interestingly enough, I saw Dr. Hung before this procedure, and he took the time to note that it was not approved. I could not believe it as I had waited so long for an approval. Fortunately, Dr. Hung, being so detail oriented, noticed this and I was able to get the gastroenterologist to put through an emergency request from the insurance, because the test was just days away.Dr. Hung's office staff are also very professional and dedicated to the practice. They are all so sweet and interact so well together.One's health is their wealth, and we all must take responsibility for getting the best medical care one can get. I've seen both Dr Calvin Hung and Dr Eric Fernandez. They are extremely patient and thorough. I never feel rushed and they listen to my observations as well. Office staff has always treated me well. They remember my name and get me in pretty close to my appointment. Lisa has been particularly helpful getting my referrals to specialists sorted out. Thanks!

First time here my appointment was for 9:30. Didn't get called in until 10:40. That's an issue

The office staff has always been pleasant and professional. That is the only nice thing I have to say. The Dr. Does not return calls after repeated left messages.  He absolutely did not care if I was in pain or going to miss work because of delay in treatment. I understand that there is a process with managed care but did that prevent him in someway  returning a call. It's been over a month 4 left urgent messages no response. Absolutely do not recommend him and will of course not return.
