This place is the worst place you could go to might as well stay home because no doctor will see you

Absolutely hate this hospital. Since it’s the only one in my town and I got in a car accident I had to go here. First off the er staff is mostly non attentive and doesn’t know what to do in the situations I’ve been in or told the wrong info. For instance I got in at noon and I had not had anything but a small water at work all day. After I had had to swallow some blood from my nose leaking so bad, I was begging for water and they refused. Later thag night I asked another nurse and I am allowed to have it til midnight. So I was choking and coughing the whole time for nothing. I was moved to a room at 230 am and it was a nice room I have to say and private. But they didn’t listen to my concerns for my pain and were cappinf off my pain meds. My pain had not dulled but only a little bit when I got there. All in all this hospital has gone downhill. The reports are true. The doctors I had to deal with were rude and making themselves sound better than me and making me feel stupid. Next time I’ll drive to Kaiser. Thanks 👌🏼

!DO NOT GO HERE!If you have a loved one that is having a mental health crisis take them to another hospital. There is no benefit to this place.No one will call you to get any information or patient history. No one is interested in what may be going on. The patients spend no time speaking with anyone to help them other than whoever will see them for a few minutes to prescribe medications. Dr. Dharmapalan V. Pillai will discharge your person regardless of where they are mentally. I had phone calls from my person in the hospital made to me from the phones in the behavioral unit saying they still would attempt to take their life again. I gave this information to the TWO social workers that contacted me. Connie let me know it didn’t matter. She made sure I was well aware that absolutely nothing mattered other than the doctor saying he can go he’s good. Yes because anyone that overdosed on their mental health medication to end their life is in a super great place in less than 72 hours. I repeatedly asked for a referral or transfer to another longer inpatient program. NOPE doc says he’s good-back to the above continued threats of suicide. Again, Connie said it doesn’t matter doctor says he’s out.This place is a waste of time and will only make things worse. Get some real help for your person that isn’t anywhere near Henry Mayo. There is a reason everyone says to stay away from this place.

This hospital sells your information to credit agencies without giving you the chance to pay. I never once received a letter in an attempt to collect my debt. 4 years later it is on my credit report. A bunch of frauds and snakes here. It was an attempt to sell my medical information

This is my second stay in Henry Mayo and this is the second time they have threatened to turn me into collections for a hospital stay I am still having.They just threatened to turn me into collections unless I paid $3,000 just in case my out of pocket deductible had not been met. Janelle threatened my wife and now refuses to return my call or come to my room.This hospital is a train wreck, they must be hurting for money so bad that they have to force collections on patients while they are still in the hospital.I guess that proves the quality of care they provide when they cannot even afford to keep the doors open without threatening patients.

My sister-in-law went in yesterday to Henry Mayo due to complications and pain from being pregnant. She was 4 months in and in major pain. She wasn’t admitted until 3 hours later because she had to “wait for her turn”. After being admitted they discovered the baby to be dead. Instead of removing it or helping they sent her back home for her to take out the dead baby herself!! The trauma of loosing a baby only to be sent home and to take it out yourself is one of the most cruelest and inhumane things i have ever heard in my life. Im disgusted and appalled by the staffs decisions. How is this even legal???

I was just released from a 3 day hospitalization at Henry Mayo due to severe anemia, and an abnormality in my heart.My nurse Tim was AMAZING! My doctor came in and spoke to me about my heart abnormality, and I wasn’t fully understanding exactly what the abnormality meant, or exactly what is was. As soon as my doctor left, Tim immediately took the time to explain everything to me in a way that made sense, and I completely understood when he was done explaining everything.I feel like he really went the extra mile in everything he did, and I’m so grateful he was one of my nurses. He was so caring and gentle, he really made me feel like I was important and that I matter. He is funny, his laugh is contagious, and he has the best personality. He is so knowledgeable, and just lit up like it was Christmas morning when explaining everything to me.He obviously loves his job, and is meant to be a nurse and help people during their time of need. I hope management knows and appreciates what an asset he is to their Hospital.I give Henry Mayo 5 stars, and would ABSOLUTELY recommend this hospital to family and friends.

I’m 60 years old and this was the worst medical experience of my life. I end up in the ER with chest pain and a Trapoin level that peaked at 19, that’s a sure sign of a heart attack, by all medical standards. The Hospitalist said he did not think it was , his first choice was GERD, next was muscle/skeletal, then cardiac. I did get into a great hospital in Flagstaff AZ after leaving this nightmare. The looks of the medical staff when I told them of the nightmare I had just endured and especially the Trapoin numbers had them shaking their heads. I did get into a Cathlab in Flagstaff Medical Center a level 1 trauma center in AZ and yes I had a heart attack and they did put a stent in an artery. I would never recommend this hospital for anything cardiac related.

STAY OUT OF THIS HELLHOLECompletely inadequate care. Two previous admissions for progressive weakness, confusion, low BP & inability to stand/walk, the never checked his blood sugar tho' he's an insulin dependent diabetic. This time they want to discharge without making sure he can manage the 16 stairs in our home. 90% of staff are rude, condescending & unprofessional. The hospitalist was listed as a UCLA Santa Clarita physician but they say he's NOT on staff, the only other phone number online is out of service, nursing staff said they can't help so I can't contact him. Maybe next week when I have to call the paramedics again (5th time), his BP will be good enough for transport to Holy Cross, please G-d.
