Extremely rude, like she hates her job, hates patients, hates her life. Treated my son like he was faking. She should retire asap before she continues to misdiagnose people whilst taking insurance money.
She was rude to myself and my son. My kid is in extreme pain and she was talking to us like we are there wasting her time. She refused an MRI and said he just pulled a muscle. My son explained he can barely walk and she told him to go to school and walk on it. He’s falling down when he tries to walk and she was acting like he was faking. What a disappointing appointment. I will be filing an official grievance.
If I had followed other people´s reveiws I had never went to this doctor, but I gave it a shot and was pleasently surprised. The staff is great and Dr. McKeever was very professional, knowledgeable and kind. She explained my daughter´s x-rays and condition with detail and patience.
I have never experienced a doctor behaving in this manner. She yelled at my toddler, was rude to both myself and my husband, cut us off, questioned our parenting for having our child in multiple activities and ignored our concerns. She also wrote inaccurate information in her notes. She was cold and abrupt and has no business ever seeing another child.
She began the visit without saying hello, accused my 9 year old of lying and told him his arm felt “tight” when he told her it felt loose. She THREW a paper towel at him and told him to ball it up and squeeze it. Did not answer any questions. Left the room without saying goodbye or acknowledging the visit was over.

My 12 year old son had a visit with Dr Mckeever and she was very rude to us from the moment she came in the room. Her bedside manner was zero to the point where I was very uncomfortable. She spoke to my son like he was an adult who was in there looking for drugs or something. It felt discriminatory because when we heard her speaking to another patient on our way out, she was a different person - kind and gentle in her tone. With us, she was fast, impatient in her speaking and appeared to be very irritated and like she didn't wanna be bothered. I wish I had asked her while in the room if she didn't want to help us, but I didn't want to appear to be causing a scene. I wasn't sure if she was irritated because we got there late, or if it was because we only have MediCal or if it was a race thing since I'm black and my son is biracial. Idk, but it was a horrible experience. When she left the room my son cried. He felt humiliated and sad and didn't understand why she was so mean to him. :(
I have to agree with other reviewers that Dr. McKeever is horrible in her interactions with children. I brought my 14 year old in with a diagnosed a fracture. The Dr. came in the room, did not introduce herself or say hello. She immediately began irritatingly asking my daughter questions and then challenged every answer she gave her. My daughter became intimidated, which seemed to anger the Dr. even more. She then said she "couldn't read her" and quit speaking to her. She was visibly aggravated at some equipment not working and walked out of the room while I was speaking, twice! Eventually, she recommended physical therapy, but did not realize my daughter's pain level was a 9 out of 10 because she never asked. When I pointed it out, she changed the plan. When I asked more questions based on information we had received in Urgent Care, she changed it a third time. In then end, we left with a cast, feeling very uncertain about whether we had taken the correct course of action and unsure of what we should give for pain. I have never been treated this way by a Dr. and do not intend to again. We will not be going back to her for the follow up X-ray and cast removal.
Please do not take your child to this woman. She has zero compassion and has no business working with kids. She shamed my 13 year old boy for not walking 2 days after he broke his pelvis in a dirt bike accident. She was so rude correcting everything my husband said and when he tried to help my son up she physically tried to push him out of the way. After the fact I found out that this is common behavior for her. Thankfully we switched doctors but if she is the only option go elsewhere
We went to see Dr.McKeever at SCOI in Valencia for my sons toe walking. I called in and spoke to the doctors assistant Maria in addition to the doctor and asked the process. They both told me 2 weeks with casts on both feet, that’s it. So I booked out my sons apt to get the casts on during spring break, so I could watch over him. I go back to get his casts off and the receptionist says I canceled my apt. Of course I told her no I didn’t. Why would I cancel my sons apt after you guys put casts on both his feet? So they got me in. Took my sons casts off and then told me the second round of casts were going to go on. I’m was like what are you talking about? They said Dr McKeever does about 3-4 rounds of 2 week casts for toe walking. I said I need to talk to her cause this was NOT explanined to me by the doctor or her assistant... and I asked in person MULTIPLE times for the entire process. Dr came in and said “I told you it’s a 4-6 week process with multiple casts” I said no you didn’t. I asked Can we do leg braces? She said it’s too expensive. Wouldn’t even discuss the option with me ore give me a price. My son is non-verbal and autistic and I have talked to other moms and they have had leg braces for their children who toe walk. But she wouldn’t even have the discussion. So I decided to not put his casts back on, because we are leaving for a beach vacation which was planned months ago. So I booked a apt for when we return from our trip to put the casts back on and start over. I get a call a couple days later from her assistant asking me to change our appointment cause she thought we had put his casts back on and our apt was too early to take off. I was so furious cause the communication at this practice is horrible. I told her my experience and what happened, I told her I’m canceling my visit and going somewhere else. And maybe they can try to learn from my experience so no other moms get misinformation and all she said as ok... and hung up. This was so horrible and frustrating I would not recommend this office or doctor. I asked all the questions but they could not communicate correctly and the office doesn’t know how to mark their charts correcting to know what’s going on with their patients.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
