List of Ucla Health Santa Clarita Primary & Specialty Care's Reviews
Or sure why people complain about this place but I had a very pleasant experience with my cardiologist. The staff was nice and I was treated well.
I've had UCLA for years and am used to a level of service that this location doesn't provide. I had an 8 AM appointment with Dr Amanpreet Kaur Bath and waited 15 minutes in the exam room. She came in at 8:15 and didn't acknowledge that she was late. She mentioned that she would review the labs in three days. I have no pressing medical issues so I waited a while to see how long it would take for her to review them. I finally messaged her three weeks later. She then reviewed my bloodwork. This location is old and is in the same strip as Henry Mayo so the area is congested but they have their own parking and valet. The UCLA offices on Tourney are new and much cleaner.
Such a rude, impatient service from the phone employee of the scheduling line (in this facility)! She has no besides manners and hanging up the phone line on patients! This is another example of the arrogant attitude that patients can get from many of the UCLA phone agents, when you need to deal with them with scheduling, billing issues.. just name it.. they CU only as a number!!!!
They have new doctors constantly so u can never find a doctor long enough to have a relationship with. Takes too long to get a prescription. Very dissatisfied with UCLA. Beware
Waiting for labs at suite 215 for more than 20 minutes, even after saying no consideration whatsoever, highly unprofessional
New to the area and waited 2 months for the appointment. On maps it will take you closer to the Henry Mayo building instead of the actual UCLA building. I got there 2 minutes after the 15 minute grace period and the doctor refused to see me because he had something to do. I understand the 15 minutes necessarily isn't required and is appreciated but for someone who doesn't know the area and called prior to let them I was late trying to find the building I thought this was pretty irrational. Will not be rescheduling.
So my daughter went in for a Dr appointment. 20 minute appointment, no blood work, no exam, only 5 questions and was charged $858. When she called billing, she was told it was standard. She asked for a specific dollar per dollar breakdown and they would not provide it. She asked for the Ombudsman contact number or email to which they said they did not have it and transferred her to the main number. Speaking with the person at the main line, they did not have any contact info for the Ombudsman or a complaint line. It is bad enough that health care cost are what they are, but for a young adult with limited health care, she was given poor service and then charged for absolutely no service given other than the five questions asked. Basically, they charged her $171.60 per question. UCLA Health is a joke, go elsewhere.
I was seen by Dr Day in endocrinology. I was recently diagnosed with Hashimoto's thyroiditis. My PCP did an ultrasound of my thyroid and recommended I get a FNA for a thyroid nodule. Dr Day did spend time with me and listened. But he obviously didn't believe a word I said. He advised me that thyroid biopsies are overdone and thyroid cancer is over diagnosed. I'm 57, I have had thyroid problems for 25 years and I have one had one biopsy. The quality of my life is poor and I went there for help. Instead Dr Day was condescending and judgmental. My only hope is to try and find an ENT doctor who is willing to help. Dr Day stated less than one percent of thyroid nodules are malignant. UCLA should put that one a sign on the wall. I have insurance and I'm sure this would be paid for. He didn't even examine my neck. I do have some neck swelling, difficulty with swallowing and problems with my tongue. I left that office in tears. I'm a retired RN and I think this is so sad. Don't waste your time here. I obviously wasted the doctors time.
I recently found a lump in my breast and was referred to Dr. Senofsky. My husband was able to come with me to both visits that I had with this doctor. which is an hour and a half away from where we live. When my visit was scheduled they told me I was going in for a biopsy, this was not the case. For my first visit, I was advised to get there 30 min early, that is exactly what I did. The front desk people made me feel bad for coming so early. I then was brought in the back and the nurse asked me a few questions, one of these questions was are you currently pregnant? We had just found out that I was pregnant and were very excited. The nurse wrote everything down then left the room. When the doctor walked in about 15 min later my husband pulled up his mask and the doctor said he wasn't able to see us yet because he had his mask down while we were the only ones in this room. He came back about 5 min later and did the exam. He would not talk to my husband during this visit and made sure that he could not hear when he asked me if i wanted to keep my baby. WHAT???? He then gave me a breast exam and was very rough, it hurt, a lot. After the exam he said that he was able to refer me to another place for my actual biopsy in Santa Clarita. I said no and wanted somewhere closer to where I live. He seemed like this was an inconvenience to him. I was pretty upset leaving this appointment. Our second visit was for my Biopsy results. I got my results early on the UCLA health app, this wasn't even addressed to me. it said " tell her that her biopsy results show that it is a benign fibroadenoma" which is great news, but this is the message I got from a "professional" place of business. WHAT????? When I went to this appointment I arrived right on time. We waited 45 min after my appointment in the waiting room. after we were brought back I had to inform the nurse that I had a miscarriage. All she said was "there isn't a button for miscarriage" How insensitive. After the nurse left we waited another 15 min. The Doctor came in and went on the computer for 3 min. then talked to us about what it is and our options for 2 min. The entire interaction with him was about 5 min. that we traveled an hour and a half for. We will never go back.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
