List of Carbon Health Urgent Care - Redwood Plaza's Reviews
My whole experience was excellent. I book an appointment online. When I arrived I was greeted politely and check in was easy. My wait was short, and I felt listened to and gathered valuable information. I wouldn’t change anything about my visit.
So many good things about Carbon Health Urgent in Vallejo. Staff were so friendly & helpful. Nice lobby setup. Cozy & comfortable. Debra, Physician Assistant was great. Thorough & made sure you understand everything in simple term. The facility that small, you can get xray & get results right away. It's like you are at a hospital (mini-hospital complete equipments). Website: making appointment was so easy & you get confirmation with complete information. Every detail that was done to you at the facility is accessible in minutes. Vital signs, diagnosis, prescriptions, results & care plan. Even copies of X-ray & copy of insurance card (my was picture of my phone showing my insurance card).I know now a days doctors office & hospitals does the same thing where you can access your record, but Carbon Health's website is easier to read, consistent, thorough & understandable by a non-medical field career. If before I always struggle where to go if medical attention is needed now its so convenient & worry free going to Carbon Health. No more waiting for so long at ER or other urgent care facility. Great Job! Thank you! Keep it up!
Got in pretty quickly. Very easy to make appt. online. The doctor was friendly and knowledgeable. Good experience.
The manager and the medical lead were friendly, polite and professional. I received excellent customer service.
The staff at carbon health in Vallejo are fantastic. They make you feel comfortable and they care about you genuinely. my entire family goes there often and they are life savers!! Thsnk you so much for this place and the individuals who work there!!
The carbon team sends out appointment reminders, The staff is efficient, friendly and they listen, They asks questions and seek your input, but - That’s what I call customer service -
I’ve been here twice and my experience was better than emergency hospital. You don’t have to wait long and the have result of test in few minutes. The staff are polite, nice and helpful. Even better than my regular doctor.
My husband went here for ear pain. The doctor told him he had wax build up and to use drops and come back 3 days later to have them irrigated. I asked Tiffany, the medical assistant, what is the best way to clean ears because they say don't use Q-tips and she stated she didn't know and to contact an ENT doctor. The same visit, Tiffany also did a throat swab for strep to be sure he didn't have strep (not sure why). We returned 3 days later, the receptionist told him they did swab incorrectly 3 days prior and had to retest him, which they never did. We go into the room, it was the same medical assistant Tiffany, but a different doctor, and they asked him why he was there, ummmm you booked the appointment and told him to come back to get his ears irrigated. Tiffany began mixing some red solution with REALLY hot water. Tiffany began squirting the hot solution into my husband's ear and he said "ouch that burns, it's REALLY hot" Tiffany says, "no it's not, it's not hot on my skin" so she squirts it again and my husband told her to stop. She puts drops in his ear and says wait 15 minutes to see if it loosens the wax up more. She was wearing gloves with a hole in them, leaves room for 15 minutes and returns wearing THE SAME EXACT GLOVES from when she left the room. Sanitation issue??? She then proceeds to POUR hydrogen peroxide straight from the bottle down his ear canal??? Ummmm NO, NO, NO. then sticks a long plastic device trying to scrape out ear wax. Then My husband couldn't hear out of his ear after she was digging in it and pouring a whole bottle of NON DILUTED hydrogen peroxide down his ear canal. She shows no concern he can't hear. My poor husband was in so much pain. We advised the doctor when she came back in that Tiffany needs more training because she clearly had no idea what she was doing. The doctor said she should've never poured straight peroxide down his ear. I also told the doctor that prior days before Tiffany said she didn't know how to clean ears. Update on husband's ear, he has a blister inside due to the hot solution Tiffany put in his ear. We will never return here, a pretty scary experience when dealing with one's health. You're better off going to ER or a hospital urgent care facility.
The carbon team is very efficient and responsive. I received immediate assistance with all my health or billing concerns. I’m really happy with the transition from Kaiser to Carbon.
Came for a strep swab. Staff and provider were very kind, professional, timely. Good experience for a simple visit.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
