List of Insoo Kim Md's Reviews
Dr.Kim is amazing . For years other doctors would not put the back pain I was having in consideration like Dr.Kim did. He Diagnosed me and treated my pain . The nurses in his office were amazing too.. They informed me about how to get my authorization with my primary and I was able to get appointment with in the next week.. I don't know about these other reviews .. But I really recommend Dr.Kim's office
Update: I called another doctor and he was able to get my records and I have an appt on Tuesday. Baffling that I had two appts over 2 months with Dr Soo and they failed to get my records twice. His staff definitely didn't care that I made 2 trips for nothing. I asked them to have Dr. Soo call me so I can describe my experience with his office but I guess I shouldn't hold my breath. Avoid this circus and find another doctor
Absolutely the worst doc office--definitely avoid. 1. The doctor took 5 days to read my scan which meant I spent 4 days in the hospital too long. 2. 1st in office appt they never ordered my scans. Waste of time.3. I call to ask if I could go cold turkey on the meds--was told yes. When I researched it further to stop taking it is the worst thing I could have done.4. I'm told they have my scans and when I go in I'm told that they have my cd but not the report. Another wasted trip.Do yourself a favor and avoid this doctor and its office
I was referred to him by my health Insurance, I really liked him, he was professional and straight to the point and gave me very educated answers to any question I asked. The two women working in the office and professional and courteous as well.
WARNING!! BEWARE!! CAUTION!! STAY AWAY!! RUN!! AVOID!! DO NOT GO!!I went to see Kim InSoo, who took an x-ray. He had to put in a request to my insurance to approve of a cortisone shot for my elbow for an abrasion sprain. The approval goes through. Upon my next visit, Mr. InSoo comes in and says, "How did the shot work?" I told him, "That is why I am here...to get a shot." He then says, "Where does it hurt?" I mean really! He is the expert and asking me where it hurts. So, he orders to have a cortisone shot and when the syringe is ready, he asks me where it hurts again. I thought to myself, "You are the expert, shouldn't you know where the shot goes." I have to pinpoint the pain deep down, near my bone and find the sensitive spot and tell him where it hurts. AND HE DOESN'T EVEN LOOK AT THE X-RAY!!! And so he jabs the shot in me where I show him relatively where my pain is..and calls it a day.Although, this was my second cortisone shot (the 1st one was with a different doctor in a different county). When I had my first cortisone shot done, that orthopedic doctor knew exactly where to give me the shot and never once asked me where the pain was or where he should give me the shot at. I specifically requested for a MRI with Mr. InSoo, but he refused, saying that all I needed was a cortisone shot. Although I already had had one, Mr. InSoo tells me that it is typical to receive more than one cortisone shot for the same issue at hand. The second cortisone shot with Mr. InSoo was a horrible experience. I was in pain for 5 days with an aching pain in my elbow and heart palpitations. I thought something was wrong with me and that I might die, due to the excessive heart palpitations. Mr. InSoo is a quack and doesn't know what he is doing and sure has a bad memory. I filed with the medical board for malpractice! I suggest everyone avoid Mr. InSoo AT ALL COST!!!

Great experience with Dr Kim very professional, all around from his staff, to his great care couldn’t thank him enough for all his help! Highly recommend this office and Dr.
I was a little nervous coming here after reading the reviews, but my experience with this doctor was great! He was very attentive, and honest. I came in to see Dr. Kim for my ongoing knee pain. He made sure he gave me all the possible treatments that may help my knee before even suggesting surgery.(Which is considerate since I've been to other doctors who do not look for alternate methods and just rush into the decision for surgery). I now have minimal pain on my knee, sometimes I even have no pain. 5/5 stars, thank you Dr. Kim!
I am a current patient of dr. Kim, but not by choice. He happened to be the surgeon on call when I was brought into the hospital with a compartment syndrome injury in my lower left leg. While he may be a very good technician, he doesn't seem to care at all about the patient. He skipped required follow-up visits while I was in the hospital, and only continued follow-up visits once I was discharged until my insurance indicated he had billed them to the maximum allowed under that injury designation. Them he dropped me. He hardly spoke ten words to me during any of my visits, and didn't even mention the expected nerve pain during recovery, which is to be expected with this type of injury. Now that it is here, he is ignoring my requests for any pain medication. He is literally a butcher in that he treats his patients as if we are nothing but meat. No patient skills whatsoever. I'm considering pursuing a malpractice suit for needless pain and suffering. I gave him 2 stars for his technical skills only. As a physician he is pretty poor.
Very poor scheduling and customer service. I made an appointment, showed up on time, then waited an hour, then was told it would be another hour before I could see the doctor, I told them I couldn’t wait. We scheduled another appointment for almost a month later, they called the day before to cancel, while I was driving, I made an appointment for the following week and ask them to text or email me the reminder because I was driving and couldn’t make note of it. I never received the email I called this week to check when the appointment was they said it was today. I already have an appointment scheduled today at this time. It was now going to be at least two weeks before they could see me again. I asked them to get me in sooner than the rescheduling it was their fault, they said basically, too bad. To which I said thank you very much I will be a different orthopedic. I can’t speak to the quality of the work, but the quality of the office is terrible. They also don’t validate parking and parking is very restrictive in the area.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
