Jotika Thompson Md's Online Review Report Card

This has been the worst experience dealing with Dr Thompson’s practice. You can spend days trying to reach someone in her office. Their phone lines are never working and even her staff complains about it. Even after numerous complaints about their inefficient appointment process, nothing gets done. Even her staff is frustrated. This borders on neglection of patients needs.

I felt the Love and Care of Dr Thomson, she took her time explained everything and was exceptional. Office staff was also great and short wait times! Thank you for bringing old school back! :) ~

I honestly have been having a great experience with Dr. Jotika. She has been pleasant to deal with in my situation I am having with my Pulmonary Embolism. She always goes in depth on my case and answers all my questions. Also she never seems like she is in a rush dealing with me which I like. I personally and honestly recommend her as a Hematologist!!!!

I had my appointment today with Dr. Jotika and I was impressed with not only the short wait time that I had but also the friendly staff, clean office, and how thorough Dr. Jotika was when asking questions and analyzing my symptom (Pulmonary Embolism). I had no problem finding parking and I was literally probably there less than an hour. Definitely recommend.

The day before my visit to the office I checked the reviews and saw that they were subpar. Arriving at her office I did not know what to expect. I saw that the office was clean, the staff was nice and Dr. Jotika I was very attentive and thorough when it was my turn to be seen by her. Not sure why so many people gave bad reviews. I had no issues at all and felt I should leave an honest review.

Do not get this person as your DR. she is not a Doctor as the matter of fact I don't know if she is even human. She has no care or connection with her patients. My father was diagnosed with gastro stage 4 cancer she was a horrible doctor to my dad. My dad passed away yesterday. She took forever to give him appointments and she allowed so much time to pass before trying to figure out my fathers next step. Valley press is the worst ever. Forget the disease, LACK OF CARE KILLED MY DAD!

Don't get her look for another Dr! If you already have her as your Dr. stop your frustration, stress, complains and CHANGE OF DOCTORS. At the end of the day you will be the one who will do her job. She is not organized and forget what she suppose to do next. She will tell you "o I already send the request or medication for your next quemo" but it's a lie!!!!! She hasn't do anything basically you will have to ask her I will put the order and request and do my appointment. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND VERY BAD COMMUNICATION

Dr. Thompson is very unprofessional and don't care about their patients treatment at all. She forgets what's she supposed to do next or follow up their care. Always give late the quemotherapy to their patients. Always give different versions to patients and to their staff. Really bad communication. She seems she too good, she over her head. Need to put her feet on the floor and do her job because people with cancer can't wait or take late there treatment. Not recommend her at all. If you have it, change of doctors.

Not sure what to think about Dr.Thompson since I only met her once which was four weeks ago for a consult. I was diagnose with cancer, stage four for a few months now. I have been in tremendous pain, aches, lost of appetite, rapid weight lost, vomiting and discomfort. I’ve explained this every single time I call to the staff and nurses at this office and they don’t make you feel important and work very slow on scheduling an appointment for chemo. My insurance is approved and sent me an authorization letter to start chemo and the office is still not able to schedule me in. Instead they keep pushing the date further and further to my death bed. I would not leave not one single star if I could. At this point I have no other choice but to go the the Hospital for help. Didn’t think that this was the type of experience I was going to have to deal with especially with my condition. Not highly recommended to go to this clinic.

It is impossible to get ahold of her office and make an appointment. Nobody ever calls you back. Very disturbing.
