My Grandson was born premature 3.lbs 13 yrs ago.. Today we Celebrating his 13 yrs Birthday!!!

First of all I want to thank all the hero’s (staff) to recognize there are not enough names to mention that did justice for me, they worked their miracles on me after being treated as a post covid patience with me. I am so Thankful for the hero’s at Barlow Respiratory specialist team. I’m am very thankful how they treated me. Thank you Barlow hero’s in Van Nuys!!! You deserve 5+* for the two months I stay there at Barlow in Van Nuys. Thank you once again for the Tender, Luv, Care!!!

I was born here and so was my older sister and my baby nephew its an amazing hospital my mom says its really clean and the staff and wonderful 10/10 recommend this hospital.

Just had a baby on 12/20/2021 and I have to say the staff at Valley Presbyterian were all amazing. From checking in to being discharged everyone was amazing. Dr. Yasharpour, our anesthesiologist Dr. Rivera and all our nurses: Abby, Trinity, Mimi and anyone else I may forgotten.... Thank you all so much for taking great care of us!

La atención por urgencias es malísima como en la mayoría de hospitales, la espera es de 4 horas en adelante no importa tu situación. Si tus signos vitales están bien, Olvídate que te van a atender y eso que yo fui con 7 meses de embarazo 👎

Worse nurses and empathy the staff has in second floor. Got admitted Tuesday afternoon and did not get discharged until Sunday 3 full days without eating or drinking king anything. Waiting for the surgeon he never arrived. Being a single parent with no support from no one the case worker from hospital couldn't help me either.

I hope I can give 0 stars the way they act in ER . Super lazy and inhuman staff at valley Presbyterian . Even if person dies in ER waiting for turn they would not mind but they would not take severe cases before other ? You have to wait for your turn ?

Rudest nurses I have ever seen. No respect towards patient's family feelings. Nurses putting an IV in with no gloves. After caring for a patient for over 4 days, they still didn't know what the patient's baseline is. They didn't care to read the chart or to asl the previous shift. But if they would the previoshift would not know either. They treated my mom as non-verbal, while she can perfectly speak and respond in Russian. Nurse told me to just accept the situation and leave my life. She was clueless that my mom is not speaking due to infection and not due to her previous history of stroke. No one wants to talk to the family members to give any updates, when asked to give an update, they do everything to get rid of you, amd actually walk away as they are responding. No consideration. Every patient is a transaction for them. I had never ever in my life had seen anything like this. This whole hospital had to be shut down, for the exception of few doctors, and one nurse. Beyond compression. Avoid this hospital by any means.

AVOID THIS BUSINESShospital does not care about patients treats them more like transactions. Visitors are not welcomed to be with patients. Horrible will never ever go there or recommend it to anyone

I am a 63 yr. old quadriplegic recently released from Los Robles Hosp. after a 9 month stay. Moving from 1000 Oaks to L.A.  was difficult and quite a drain on me and when my pain mgmt. team failed to renew my prescriptions in time, my meds. ran out. Because of a spinal injury I take very strong meds.  so when I ran out, dangerous withdrawal symptoms started, life-threatening actually. I was taken to Valley Presbyterian, where from the beginning they ignored everything I told them and they refused to contact Los Robles to obtain my charts and medical history. It was 2 days before they gave me ANY  pain relief and then it was less than 40% of the medication I had been taking for the last 4 years as documented by my records. My neuropathy was so bad that just touching my skin was agony. A Dr. tapped on my left leg, as they do to indicate an area, and when I screamed in pain and pointed at her saying "Please don't, that hurts!" She slapped me and told me, and I quote: "Don't you point at me!" I was astonished at being stuck, but when I complained to the administration, nothing more was done. They  gave me no solid food for 5 days and the day I was discharged, a Male nurse actually grabbed my rt. great toe, which has been surgically disconnected from my skeleton for neurological pain issues, and looking into my eyes, pulled and twisted it, I believe, to see me scream. THE VERY WORST HOSPITAL EVER. Filthy, equipt. constantly failing with subsequent alarms and 4 failed i.v. lines because they didn't flush them regularly. Bad staff. Bad care. Bad machines. Filthiest of the 7 hospitals I have seen in 6 years. I will  say this though, out of approx. 30-40 staff I did come in contact with, 3 or 4 of them showed true compassion and empathy, quietly apologizing for their colleagues bad actions. All in all: STAY AWAY! I filed grievances against them via insurance and A.M.A.
