List of Venice Urgent Care's Reviews
I drove more than half an hour to this clinic because it had very good reviews, especially the treatment of the staff and the doctors. When I arrived, I was disappointed, because the receptionists are quite cold, as are the nurses. But the worst experience, I lived with Dr. Shahram Mirh Ashem because he arrived with a quite cold and rude attitude. When I started telling him why I was there, he would interrupt me, treat me like a fool, spank me, and in general it was quite unpleasant. How is it possible that a health worker, who supposedly should give peace of mind and confidence to patients who need help, the only thing that caused me was discomfort and rejection? Hey, Dr. if you don't like working there, look for something else, but you really stain a profession as noble as medicine. I will never return to this place!
Been coming here for a while. Always amazing service, sweet staff, cool doctors. That's why I'm giving it five stars -But today a weird one off which I'll attribute to the staff member having a bad day. I came in with my daughter for a covid test, filled out her paperwork she was in w dr. In 15 min. Sat in the waiting room for 35 min then I guess there was a shift change because the employee who came in was being updated on what was going on. An elderly woman went up and asked a question, which was misheard by the dude clocking in so I repeated the question for him and he answered. She left and 30 seconds later (after I'd been sitting in the waiting room for my daughter for 35 min already and there was only one other patient inside) the dude asked me to wait outside because the waiting area was for patients only. Only sharing this because literally every other time I've been here has been an absolute pleasure so please don't let this review deter anyone from going but, it was definitely an odd experience that made me leave with a bad taste in my mouth.
They seen me within 30 mins. The doc knew exactly what was wrong. I'm getting my meds now. 4 stars because the mood there but they get the work done and quicker than most. They ask you to wait outside with no chairs so 4 stars, 5 stars if they had chairs outside, but it's cool, it's clean. They take Medi-care.
This urgent care is ridiculously helpful. I had a cut on my hand and doctor Mirhashemi helped me, fixed it up with stitches, and explained everything so clearly and thoroughly. I have come to him with a few different issues and he seems to have the right answer for everything. Thank you so much for taking care of my health, it is truly appreciated! His warm and humor is a cherry on top, hopefully I won't be back, but if I will be hopefully he is there!
Dr. Mirhashemi is excellent and the front office is very helpful.
Dont go here for a rapid COVID test. They set it up as if it’s a provider visit in order to charge you a copay for your visit. They make you see the doctor and they make you wait for your rapid test results instead of texting/emailing like most places. As you may know COVID testing should be free zero copay if you are receiving it through your insurance, however they bill for it as if you came to see a provider and then received a test in order to get around the no charge. Go some place else. They’re also slow as molasses here.
The fake doctor I saw was a complete nut job and shouldn’t be practicing Medicine. She is a medical malpractice lawsuit waiting to happen. She presents herself as a doctor but she’s a PA (probably because she wasn’t competent enough to go to medical school)
This place is from the the Stone Age. It takes forever to get anything to happen. Not coming back ever.
Incredible doctor and great staff. Worth waiting was not long. Good place for urgent care thx doc
The woman who answered the phone was unhelpful and rude. Maybe she was having a bad day? But was frustrating.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
