Excellent physician ! Caring attentive and makes an accurate diagnosis

I just successfully had a "open heart" surgery where the two valves in my heart were replaced. Since this Dr. was my Cardiologist - I asked her for a "follow up" appointment. She -using the patient portal is communicating to her assistant that since there I am not complaining about any issues - she will see me at a delayed date - if though I requested an earlier date to see me. This Doctor thinks she knows her Patients better than the Patients know them self's. So "CAUTION" when seeing this Cardiologist - she is going to try and "rush everything" and push you out of the office.

If I had listened to this "Dr." I would be dead. She based all of her medical care on my PAST drug use and insisted that I put myself into hospice because my "social and psychological history" meant I would be in and out of hospitals and would never receive the heart valve surgery I needed. If my sister had not moved me to the Bay Area, where I received the necessary surgery within 2 weeks of meeting with the cardiologist, I would have died. DON"T TRUST THIS IDIOT

Waited TWO hours to be seen for 20 seconds! Horrible doctor who doesn't care about her patients waiting while she has lunch. Sorry that my appt that YOU made for me interfered with you lunch and lack of care. If you can't see a patient , don't make them an appt. horrible horrible horrible.

Dr. Dharawat is an excellent cardiologist. She is bright and careful in her medical care for her patients. She has taken good came of my cardiology needs. She is very interested in her patients medical care. I would recommend her. Before having Dr. Dharawat we questioned the service we were receiving. We are very pleased with her fine medical care.
