Emily S. Benson's Online Review Report Card

I visited her offices in Ventura and felt so relieved and informed as she walked me through the procedure. You can tell she cares and she is so professional. I say this because I have had multiple injuries as a former pro rugby player. From Europe , to South Africa to the USA, my body has been in for several operations from this brutal sport. She looks you in the eyes and projects calmness. She has an excellent team that supports her. They are a big family, hands on, they care and they make sure you are not in pain. I am not surprised she is a 5 Star rated Surgeon. She has probably worked very hard to earn the highest reputation. I have heard this from several people. I've had multiple surgeries from many Doctors, but none as thorough as the surgery Emily Benson performed on me on September 1st, 2019 after a fall I took that shattered my right ankle.... All I can say is she's one of the leaders in Orthopedic surgery in Calif, and as humble as a person can be. I will be forever grateful to her..

I always had to wait 3 hours for her to come see me for 2 minutes than leave. She did a good job on my leg but I'm still in pain and limping on it. Not to sure if she cares so much about the pain situation. Dont care either way. All I have to say about Benson she is good I'll give her that.. other than that she dont care about your pain

In 2007, Dr. Benson replanted my foot from a complete open compound dislocation caused by a car accident. Dr. Benson didn’t use any metal to hold it in place, She just rebuild and put everything back in its place. I have been able to walk and run without limping. I am very grateful to Dr. Benson for giving life back to my foot, God really uses her. Thank you!!!

I give 0 stars. Unprofessional office and doctor. She tried giving me every excuse why she couldn’t do my procedure. After all excuses I still had to go through her cause financial issues wouldn’t let a specialist do it. She told me what procedure she wanted to do and I mentioned how the specialist originally wanted to do a different one. She stuck with her idea and did it. Outcome was not what I hoped for. Finger still looks the same as it did originally before my procedure. Now I’m in debt with my insurance for something that I wasn’t satisfied with. Even when she said the wires would be pulled out in 4 weeks she did it in a week and a half. What was the point of the procedure. Did the wires really do their job that soon. I feel like she just rushed me through everything to get me off her hands. Never again would I go their or recommend anyone there. Wasn’t worth my time or the debt I’m in now to still have my finger the same way it still curves crooked when I try and make a fist thanks for nothing Dr. Benson.

Tibia plateau fracture and had to have surgery. I was told to see Dr. Benson and I am happy to say I did. 2 weeks after surgery and I feel great. Amazing job on my surgery and excellent care. Would recommend anyone to see her. Thank you Dr. Benson!

I had a broken arm that the bone wasn't touching and was like that for a year. Dr Benson was so AMAZING she was honest and upfront about possible complications with the main nerve and did a successful surgery without any complications I can't thank her enough. I would highly recommend her to anyone

Dr. Benson done a fabulous job at putting my leg back together after I broke it in three different places. A woman of many talents, she excels in the repair of broken bones. Its been over two years and Im back to work with little to no discomfort even after a long day of climbing ladders. The greatest of gratitude for an obviously difficult surgery
