Dr. Jim Ahern is so patient and kind. I never met a doctor that listened to me with so much intenti to really find an answer. I am so grateful to have found him. He is highly recommended. He in my opinion is how a doctor should possess and that is compassion and grace. Also, the staff in his office is really amazing. Thank you guys so much. Kimberly

Visited Dr. Ahern one time. He makes a good first impression . First impressions can be wrong. He creates charges to pad the bill. Avoid unless you enjoy paying over $1000 for under an hour visit. Profit before people.

I have been a patient of Dr Ahern's for four years. He has a warm, kind, gentle personality. Surely this contributes to healing. A rare jewel in a profession that is often impersonal and cold as ice. He is a great listener. Takes his time to explain the issues. Personally calls to explain blood and other tests. Admin and nursing staff friendly and competent. I can't say enough good things about Dr Ahern.

Dr. Ahearn is the kind of family practitioner you wish there were more of. He is attentive and kind, patient, and considers the whole patient, not just symptoms. He gives you the time you need. My only concern is what I'll do for health care when he retires.

I would agree with Nadine below The docs are so kind but I cringe talking to office staff (and I work in this business) Wish they would go electronic; trying to get chart records without a portal is tough.

Have been seeing Dr. Ahern for over 20 years and respect his insight and thoroughness greatly. He discovered a condition early on that was thankfully treatable, has referred us to great doctors/physical therapists/etc and holistically cares for my entire family.

Dedicated, patient, kind, brilliant, constant and consistent over 30 years. Bedside manner meets “state of the heart” medical practices. I came back to Connecticut after a Corp relocation to continue with Dr J. Ahern, the most trusted physician.

Decent overall healthcare provided, however, the front office staff not so friendly. Feel the office is not appropriately staffed to handle the patient volume and they have charts all over the place... very messy appearance! They seem overworked and always bothered by your presence. Also be careful to watch your statements... office double bills for annual physicals which they should NOT do! Only trying to generate more revenue for their practice which is unethical and illegal.
