James Hermann's Online Review Report Card

You never want to go to this doctor. I begged him for weeks to see me. He misdiagnosed me, gave me a medication that nearly killed me. His partner sent me to the hospital immediately. He made up his mind on insufficient information and no matter what I said, he dismissed me. Also, he also subjected me to a probe of my womb without warning me or giving me any medication or telling me I'd need a driver to take me home. He is a horrible doctor and his nurse at the time was an arrogant little you-know-what. Do not go to this guy!

I saw Dr. Hermann for years and have never had a better physician. I have moved out of the area now, I've but never have found a better physician. He is proactive and stayed on top of not only my health but all the latest updates of health. Dr. Hermann never rushes you. He takes the time to find out what is going on with you. He really seems to care to keep you healthy.Not only was he a great doctor, he and his entire staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. I cannot recommend him enough.

My family and I started seeing Dr. Hermann recently and I have never experienced such great care! The entire staff is amazing from the front office ladies, to the nurses, and of course doctors. Everyone goes above and beyond. The level of patient care Dr. Hermann provides is top notch.

To put my longest, most drawn out story short: he is overreactive, and I would like to say, size-ist. Yes, I'm on the larger side, but I have had a clean bill of health all my life and have even followed his advice to work on reducing my weight. In return, I'm being medically reviewed by the dmv for a random dizzy spell, at best. At worst, I am going to have my drivers license suspended despite no history of health issues, when I am providing for myself and am now faced with student loans from nursing school. -slow clap- after all this is said and done, I will not be seeing him again nor would I recommend him to anyone I personally know. Wouldn't want my friends or family to stub their toe and lose their foot so to speak.

Dr. Hermann is such a great doctor. He listens and treats the whole person... Not just the body part that hurts when you come to see him. Dr. Hermann is an excellent physician for both body and mind. I haven't met his partner, Dr. Birdwell, but I've heard great things about him too. If Dr. Hermann is ever off duty, I'd be honored to be seen by Dr. Birdwell too.

I have been a patient with Dr. Hermann for many years. He is an exceptional doctor in part because he actually "listens" to his patients rather than just "hearing" his patients. He is quite knowledgeable and always takes plenty of time to listen to any of my concern or questions regarding my care and treatment. Dr. Hermann is by far the most conscientious doctor I have ever had and I hope to continue seeing him for many year to come.

You'd be crazy to NOT go to this doctor! I just moved to town, and was looking for a family doctor. Dr. Hermann is really impressive, I must say. I have been to so many other doctors in the past, and this experience was by FAR the best I have ever had at any doctor's office! For my yearly check-up/physical, he spent over 1.5 hours with me, we started promptly, hardly any wait time -he took the time to get to know me and my health- asking so many questions and answering my questions, and in no way did I feel rushed, or like just another number/patient to him. I felt he took his time to listen to me, to understand my lifestyle/health and work with me. He is up to date on things, puts health records in a system that is linked to the hospital in case of needing a specialist or emergency (brilliant!), and even sent me home with some reading material to educate me on some issues/questions I had. His assistants and office receptionists were helpful, thorough, and went out of their way to check on my insurance for me, make outstanding lab appts for me, and call me personally with updates. I am so glad to have found such a great doctor, and feel blessed and quite lucky.

What you want in a doctor!!!! I love my new doctor. He is nice and patient. He makes you feel like he is listening to you and even tells you funny stories of things that have happened to him. He spends time with you and doesn't make you feel rushed or just another number. I am so happy we found him!

Great doctor. Cares about the patient and works hard to make sure you are well taken care of. I would refer him to anyone.

Dr. Hermann is AMAZING! Dr. Hermann has been my primary care physician for a couple of years now, and I could not hope for a better doctor. Dr. Hermann is extremely patient and kind. He really takes the time to explain everything to you and address any questions or concerns you might have. You do not get the feeling you are being rushed out the door at all. His staff is also very congenial and efficient. It is an absolute pleasure to visit his office. He stays abreast of advances in medications and technology. Just a fabulous doctor & office. Cannot recommend it enough.
