Most importantly, Dr. Jennifer Wan is a Caring & Compassionate person. She has an office staff with the same qualities which is a rare find these days. Candy in the office has went above and beyond to support & help me with my mothers care plan. Top all of this with Dr. Wan’s skills of everything an Amazing & Skilled Surgeon should be. My mother could of NEVER been placed in the hands of a better person & Doctor !!

Dr. Jennifer Wan with Dr. Lamar Bushnell performed an extensive Cardiothoracic surgery for my son in December 2019. The emergent, life-saving 10+ hour surgery was successfully performed saving my son’s life. I’m thankful for their skill, confidence and determination. Additionally, Dr. Bushnell’s caring nature was reassuring to Marc and our family.

What an exceptional surgeon. Caring, capable and professional. She listens to you, hears you (something many Doctors do not do), addresses any questions/concerns and takes the time to explains your options and her recommendation. It's a scary situation dealing with knowing that cancer has invaded your body...Dr. Wan puts you at ease with a confidence that lets you know you are in good hands. My surgery, partial removal of one lung lobe, was a great success - I am cancer free, no chemo, no radiation. We will be watching this for a number of years to come but Dr. Wan made this experience easier than I had expected...I highly recommend her.

My father was Dr. Wan's patient during a Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) procedure at Ventura Community Hospital in November 2019. She was a member of the surgical team following the cardio-pulmonary team restoring my father's health so he could survive the TAVR procedure. Dad was impressed by Dr. Wan's bedside manner, education and cardio skill set. She's a 21st century leader in California cardiology. Dad was restored to baseline and the procedure progressed perfectly. Our old rooster with a bovine "aorta stent" valve wil be making aa few more laps around the barnyard and pasture. Thank you Dr. Wan and the Cardio team.
