List of Julia V. Ramos's Reviews
Dr Ramos is probably the best doctor I’ve had since getting so sick. He explains things well, in easy to understand terms. He doesn’t hesitate to reach out to his network of physician providers peers on consultation to get answers for his patients. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.
Very competent and listens to and talk to the patient not T them. Very good.
Dr.Ramos has been my rheumatologist for 15+years and has always been a very good doctor,as has all his staff. If he wasn't available when i needed a fast appointment before my disability his PA's are also excellent.Dr. would also take the time to listen to any question,in person or by telephone and answer them honestly,....if he didn't think it was in my best interest,he told me why.But if he thought a clinical study would benefit me we would try it. I respected him when he was honest enough to tell me no..I dealt with other doctors I would never return to. When my husband needed a doctor,I took him to Dr.Ramos first and then ,on his advice,I found the right care. I thought I would have to find help caring for him but now he is looking for a job after retirement. My advice to the other unhappy reviewers..Have patience and listen.Dr.Ramos will give you the best care he can with a smile even on a bad day.
Only had one appointment with him and he told me my condition wasnt bad after 15 minutes of seeing me. He touched my trigger points and hurt me and when i messaged him to see if i can get more exercises for home he told me hed have to schedule an appointment to see me then he could give me them. my doctor had a question for him and he was not helpful at all and didnt try to answer his question. getting a new doctor as i type!
Dr. Ramos is the best . He has helped me after 4 years of going to different doctors and being in hospital's. Dr.Ramos has given me my life back that i can spend time with my grandchildren and family again. Dr. Ramos went above and beyond for me. He always called me back no matter what time it was. Always would make time to see me treated me excellent listen to my complaints caring understanding and above all professional. I would recommend highly. Love Doc Ramos!!! One of the very few patient advocates that knows about and how to treat my rare autoimmune disease. Whole staff super nice and caring. Highly recommended.
Been my rheumatologist for about 4 years. He has taken great care of me. Always sensitive and attentive to my needs. Asks questions and listens, always asks if I have questions.
Dr Ramos is my Rheumatologist and has gone above and beyond to get me feeling better. I have been with him for about 12 years and would never even consider leaving him. He is caring and compassionate and listens to what your saying ( I don't feel that all doctors really listen as well as they could). I have recommended him to family and friends and will continue to do so.
first appointment went ok but the following appointment he seemed distracted
Initially I would have said he was my favorite Dr but his attention waned. he was leaving things to his PA and not participating in my care. The last straw was the prescribing of a medication without checking my chart to see it conflicted with another. Flippant remarks and inattentiveness was the norm in the end.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
